Thsea are such cool lights. I bought these last summer with the hope of installing them before Christmas. In the past I have always had to climb onto my roof to install Christmas lights. It was such a chore, and like medium dangerous. Well long story short I broke my leg in October (luckily not falling off of the roof) and did not get a chance to install these until earlier this year, and man I missed out last Christmas! The installations process does take some time but is very straightforward as long as you plan ahead. The adhesive pads stick extremely well to our vinyl soffits and haven't shown any signs of budging all summer... a very hot humid summer so far. I love that the kit came with splices and jumpers to make it easier to install segments in all sorts of roof configurations, granted we didn't need any of that since we have a very simple ranch style house, but I could see it being invaluable for some. The application to control the lights does have a bit of a learning curve, but it didn't take me too long to figure out how to design custom scenes and schedules after a bit of fiddling around with it. You can literally go light by light if you want and set everything manually or there are a bunch of fun pre-installed scenes available as well. Overall the whole kit feels extremely high quality and I expect it should last a very long time. Currently it has only been a few months, but I will definitely update this review in the future if necessary. Everyone loved our 4th of July red white and blue lights, but I can't wait for Halloween and Christmas! All I know is I am probably going to be buying a lot more Govee products in the future. ... show more

Going on 1 1/2 years now with these. The app works great! I get lots of compliments! The lights stuck to the house very well! Love the American Flag theme I created in the App. I created a house lighting mode for the rest of the year when there is no holidays. I even bought a second set for my koi pond in the back. Best lighting investment ever! I have them on every night; the house really looks great. Preprogrammed holiday themes are available, but I've enjoyed customizing my display with the thousands of colors available. Highly recommend!

DO NOT BUY GOVEE - VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! These pro lights are very high failure items if you read the reviews and for the high price they should be much better! I dropped my review to a one star due to the VERY POOR Customer service, when our lights failed. Ama-zon has a mistake on our order that shows returned and GOVEE will not warranty the lights because of the mistake. NEVER BUY anything from GOVEE they do not have any replacement parts for their own products and the customer service is so very slow if they reply and does not help when their product has been shown that it has failed. They require photos & video and take a very long time to reply if they ever do. I bought some items direct from the GOVEE website store via their app and it does not show we bought anything under the order history. I added a couple of issues in the app and when they finally did reply their reply is no longer shown in the conversation. This is just really bad product and lack of support. I Would NEVER BUY GOVEE products again and WILL NEVER recommend them to anyone EVER. All based on their very poor customer service and the high failure rate of their products. Just more Chinese Junk for the landfill at a really high price. Buy something else there are many to choose from. STAY AWAY FROM GOVEE JUNK - YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!! These lights look great at night. They light up your house and have a ton of color options. Goovee attempted to make these easy to install but it can be difficult and time consuming. I would do the best you could to plan out the installation. Do you need an extension ladder or a drill.... Pros: They look fantastic at night They can light the outside of your house to provide security There are a ton of color options Cons: It is a time consuming task to install The kit will not likely provide enough splice materials The lights are visible under the eves during the daytime and may not exactly color match It's possible that the sticky tape will fail in time You have to use Bluetooth to control the lights.
