The media could not be loaded. Bought the 4-pack from Lowe’s and this 2-pack from Amazon. After the first very mild rain the first week, there was water/condensation on the inside of the light. I have seen this issue complained about on Reddit and in other places. Some have mentioned success with gorilla glue around the rim of the diffuser but I have not tried this. The 4-pack which was out several weeks longer in multiple rain storms did NOT have this problem so I’m hoping it’s just a quality control issue and doesn’t actually speak to the longevity (or lack thereof) of the lights. Customer service was exceptional which I was not expecting. If these prove to be somewhat durable in the extreme southern heat and rains, I will probably be transitioning from Philips Hue (they are so expensive). The colors look fantastic and the lights are quite bright. They really highlight my garden. Setting them up is easy. Suggestions / Requests: 1. The fast, dynamic animations are great for holidays and events, but on a day to day basis, it would be nice to have options for a more gentle, less dramatic and flashy animation set to choose from. I would love to have a color scene that doesn’t look like I’m throwing a rave in the middle of a quiet neighborhood road at 11pm. 2. Please don’t have to light setting / animation change simply by tapping on another tab. For example, if the lights are on a static setting (“color” tab), then I tap the scenes tab to view all the scenes, it automatically switches it to the last scene. But sometimes I’d love to browse them before the lights start going full on party mode due to my last option. The app functions well but it definitely would benefit from some streamlining and better/alternative organization. I am excited to try the curtain lights in the future. ... show more

We have other products made by Govee to include the curtain lights, outdoor strip lights, christmas lights, and outdoor permanent lights. So we’ve only begun to touch the surface on these Govee spotlights. So far the two pack are bright enough to light up one half side of our house. I might buy more to light up the tree in the future. My only concern in longevity as I’ve read other reviews talk about water getting inside. So far we’ve had two rain storms and everything is fine. We keep the controller and electrical in a water tight box. I only plan on using these lights from Nov to Jan then I’ll store them with some of my other lights. I like that it can all be integrated and grouped together with the other govee products. The picture I posted is the two spotlights at 50% brightness. It’s way too bright at 100%, and the lower you make it the longer the lights will last, hopefully. Can’t wait to see what it’ll look like next year once I get everything connected. Hopefully, I’ll remember to come back and provide an update if anything changes. Overall, very happy with govee products! ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’ve owned these for less than 2 years and they’ve now broken down. I own several Govee products and this is the second one that breaks down on me.     • Good but Not Perfect - Govee Outdoor Spot Lights

I recently set up the Govee Outdoor Spot Lights around my yard, and I have a few thoughts on them. Overall, they're pretty good, but there's room for improvement. First off, the colors are okay. They're not as vibrant or accurate as I had hoped, but they do add a nice touch to the outdoor ambiance. I was expecting a bit more punch in the color representation, but they're passable for general use. The app is a major plus. It's user-friendly and makes controlling the lights a breeze. Adjusting settings and changing colors is straightforward, which I appreciate. This aspect definitely enhances the overall experience. However, I do wish the lights were brighter. They're fine for subtle accent lighting, but if you're looking for something that really illuminates your space, these might fall a bit short. Also, the cords between the lights could be longer. The current length somewhat limits how you can position them, especially if you're trying to cover a larger area or navigate around garden features.
