Got this for my 8yr old,it’s great hoverboard,there’s no need to assemble,came in well packaged and ready to use.It’s very solid and just feels beefy,it even ride well when I try it despite my weight 180lb.The light on this hoverboard really pop,it’s definitely an eye catcher while using it,it features LCD display that can track your speed and battery life,you have the option to connect your phone to the speaker in the hoverboard and then listen to music through the board while you ride,some people may not like this feature,but I thought it was pretty cool.My son loves his hoverboard it plays his Apple song play list! ... show more

I will preface my review by saying that before receiving this hoverboard, I had never stepped foot onto a similar device, and so my comments are from someone who has zero experience. That said, after fiddling around for a while I feel like I've quickly gotten accustomed to this device, although you won't find me flying around the way that I see kids doing it. Overall the unit is built sturdy. I am over the suggested weight limit, and while it works, it does feel a bit strained, so I would treat the weight limit as pretty real as opposed to a suggestion. The battery also lasts a good amount of time, and this thing really moves. As far as maneuverability, I'd say that this is pretty nimble, so much so that it's a bit uncomfortable at first if you're not used to moving like that. I could see myself easily throwing myself from this with one jerky movement. It also has a cool safety feature where you have to be at least 100 pounds to get it going, which is great if you have small curious kids at home like me. They tried to cruise around, but fortunately for me the unit wouldn't hurl them through time and space with the same ferocity it did me. I'd say that this is well built, and would make a fun gift or little device to cruise around, as long as the primary users are comfortably within the suggested weight ranges. ... show more

I’m 30 and always wanted to get one of these. This hoverboard was on sale and I got it for a decent price. I was able to learn to ride in 3 days. I’m close to 130lbs so if you’re around my weight, you can get it. I’ve never ridden it for long enough so that the battery would completely die but from my experience 40% battery lasts for approx 45 minutes. Which is not bad for my need. It has a good built, I’ve smacked this thing on my wall and concrete road but it hasn’t been defective. Been using this for 3 weeks and I’m happy. ... show more

This hoverboard is great! It’s very easy to use and it’s not bulgy like other hoverboards I’ve used so it’s easier to pickup and carry. Its chargers quicker than other hoverboards I've had in the past and has a battery indicator which is convenient. This fits with the hoverboard tricycle carts too.

The first thing that caught my attention was its user-friendly design. Straight out of the box, it was ready to use – all you need to do is charge it up. Before your first ride, it's recommended to plug it in and let it fully charge, which takes about four hours.According to the manufacturer, the hoverboard has a top speed of 6.2 mph and can travel approximately 5 miles on a single charge. I’ve been riding it around the house and haven’t ventured out to test its limits yet, but I’ll take their word for it. I appreciate the battery level display located on the backside of the board, making it easy to monitor the battery status. On the back, you'll also find the power button and the charger port, while the front displays the speed. Charging the board is straightforward as well; the plug indicator light turns red when charging and green when fully charged. Although the board itself doesn't indicate that it's charging, the plug had an indicator that will turn green. Riding the hoverboard requires a good sense of balance, so if you're new to this, it might take some practice to get the hang of it. The onboard speakers are decent – nothing exceptional, but a nice addition nonetheless.
