It has lights on its 2 wheels which glows when moving, looks attractive at night time. My son takes it with him to his school and rides it happily. I bought this for the kids' pickle prize (a pickle ornament is hid on the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve and the next day, whoever finds the pickle gets an extra gift - in our family, it's a gift they share, but the finder gets to open it and get the bragging rights.)
