Got this for our son and he loves riding it. He really likes the black color and how cool it looks. The size is perfect for him and he can likely use it for a couple years. We really like the quality of Gotrax. It goes at a max speed of 7.5 miles which is plenty fast for his age. Took some time to assemble, but it wasn't hard. The Gotrax GKS Mini is a really fun little scooter for kids. Setup was super quick, and my kid figured out how to ride it in minutes. It feels sturdy, the speed is just right (fast enough to be exciting but still safe), and the brakes work well. Battery life is fine for short rides around the neighborhood, though you’ll need to recharge after a few miles. The small wheels mean it’s best on smooth sidewalks, not rough ground. Overall, it’s a great starter scooter — safe, easy to use, and my kid absolutely loves it. This scooter is horrible 2 days after I perchased it my six-year-old got hurt on it running into the golf cart because the throttle got stuck and it wouldn't stop! And my dad has messed with it and messed with it trying to fix it and it still keeps doing it so I would not recommend buying this for your kids! ... show more

I recently purchased the Gotrax GKS Mini Electric Scooter, and my experience has been a bit of a mix—but it ended on a positive note. The original scooter I received unfortunately did not work at all. It wouldn’t charge or power on, which was really disappointing, especially since it was meant to be a fun purchase. However, I reached out to customer support, and that’s where things turned around. Bay from the support team was very responsive, polite, and genuinely helpful throughout the process. They quickly arranged for a replacement scooter to be sent out, and kept in touch to make sure everything was handled properly. The replacement scooter arrived and has been working well so far—no issues with charging or performance, and it’s been a great experience using it. While it was frustrating to receive a defective unit initially, I really appreciate how efficiently the issue was resolved. Bay provided excellent customer service and made sure the situation was taken care of, which definitely improved my overall impression of the brand. I’m so happy with this scooter! My husband put it together in literally about 5 minutes—super simple and no frustration at all. The scooter feels sturdy, charges quickly, and has a nice smooth ride. The speed is perfect for kids (fast enough to be fun but still safe), and the throttle/brake setup is really easy for beginners. My kids love it and have been zipping around nonstop! The battery life has been great so far, and I appreciate that it’s certified and has both the electronic brake and the foot brake for extra safety. Definitely worth it! Got this for our 8 (Almost 9) year old for Christmas and she loves it! It was easy to put together and charged easily too! You have to get it rolling before the motor kicks in which we like so it doesn’t take off if she accidentally touches the throttle on the handle. I feel like it is the perfect introduction to an electric scooter for a kid that wants one - we were not sure if our daughter could handle the speed and it was really easy for her to learn. ... show more

These little scooters are great. I bought two for my daughters for Christmas and they love them. One did arrive with an issue with the charging port - the piece it was mounted into was cracked. I contacted customer service at Gotrax Support (Shout-out to Kayla!) And she was able to mail me a replacement piece quickly. Very friendly service.
