  • Definitely worth it!
Style: 28mile 500w
This is my first e-scooter that I've ever purchased and I wanted it because of the miles per hour and the range. It's supposed to take you at least anywhere from 20 to 28 miles range and the cap off in the speed is 20 mph. Battery life seems to be pretty good for the most part the only thing that I wish was that no matter how much battery life was present on the battery that you were able to travel at 20 miles per hour. If you have a full charge which is indicated by five bars you can travel at 20 mph with no problem even with four bars you can do the same. But once you hit three bars the scooter itself will no longer push itself to go to 20 mph and will only cap off at 15 which is still pretty much fine for the most part as I use this as my way to and from work on the regular and of course if you're bringing the charger with you then this pretty much isn't an issue. The design and everything is great and I absolutely love everything about it there wasn't any assembly that needed to be really done except for attaching the handlebars and that's super simple literally takes you about maybe 10 seconds to 30 seconds depending on the person I guess. It has these really cool lights underneath the deck that glow blue and you can turn on and off the the lights for the lamp that's equipped on the stem but I find that the light itself isn't really all that bright so I'm using my own that I've had for my mountain bike which is far brighter than the one that is already on the scooter itself. As far as riding it is concerned, everything works great and and performs just as much as expected it's pretty durable it's taking a couple bumps that are actually really hard that sometimes I forget are there and I even took one pothole and despite the fact of this being dual suspension you can still feel some of these bumps pretty hard but a tiny little bump on the road you won't even feel a thing for the most part other than that though honestly despite like it's tiny flaws it really does deserve five stars because this is definitely worth it and honestly I love the scooter. The quality is great it's pretty durable and it's actually somewhat comfortable for the most part but I have flat feet so that's probably a shoe issue and not so much as that deck. Also it weighs a good amount probably like 30 to 40 lbs so if you have to be like me carrying it up and down 2 flights of stairs it might be a little tiring but hey get those gains too while you're at it lol. Do I recommend?? Most definitely. ... show more

  • Great scooter with solid performance, comfort, and quality
Style: 28mile 500w
I’ve been using this Gotrax electric scooter for about a week now, mostly for recreational rides and a quick trip to a local store. So far, I’m really impressed. The ride quality is super smooth—the 10" solid tires handle bumps and dips really well, and the suspension gives it a solid, stable feel even over grass (my niece took it for a spin across the lawn, and it didn’t miss a beat). The build quality is excellent—you can tell it’s made to last, though it is on the heavier side, which actually adds to that feeling of durability. As for performance, it’s handled inclines with no issue and gets up to speed quickly. I’ve hit around 18 mph, and it still had more to give. I’ve gone about 14 miles so far and still had 65% battery left, which is awesome for peace of mind on longer rides. No noticeable drop in battery performance so far either. The electric lock is a nice touch for security, though unlocking it every time can be a little tedious—especially with the default code setup that requires spinning through all the digits. That said, I plan to change it to something easier for convenience. My only real wishlist item would be a mobile app—something to track mileage, battery levels, or ride history would be a great addition. But that’s definitely not a deal-breaker. All in all, this scooter has exceeded my expectations. It’s powerful, well-built, and smooth to ride. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and fun way to get around. ... show more

  • Caution Horrific Customer Service from Gotrax
Style: 28mile 500w
This is the most disappointing purchase I have made in years. It didnt run and had E5 error message. Gotrax provided horrific customer service via email. Not once would someone call me or allow me to call. I asked for a manager or supervisor multiple times but only received emails asking me to send them videos of the scooter. Gotrax sent me a part to try to connect but even with the new part the scooter wouldn't run. Same error message appeared. This was a brand new scooter that didnt work. Amazon should NOT do business with Gotrax. Gotrax treated me horrible and I did nothing wrong. I tried to purchase an electric scooter for my teenage son's only christmas present, and it never worked. ... show more

  • the convenient transportation to work is my scooter
Style: 28mile 500w
I have to commute to the subway every day to go back to work. My husband is a U.S. military veteran and is sick and can't drive me to work every day. I'm looking for something as simple as transportation. found it. This is the Gotrax eclipse series electric scooter. I've been using this electric scooter for 9 days. I'm 5'8" and weigh 140 lbs. It goes 20 mph on flat ground and drops as low as 14 mph on a gentle incline of about 30 degrees. The headlights are super bright, plus red taillights, and the fluorescent lights on the scooter make it easy for other vehicles to notice you at night. The 10" Pneumatic Tire improves the balance and speed stability of your scooter. Double drum brake systems are installed on the front and rear. The safety performance has also been improved a lot. It takes about 6 hours to charge, and I ride it to and from work for total about 20 miles. There is still 20% left when I get home. When I get back to the company, the scooter also can be folded up for easy storage. Overall, this is a very good scooter. It is easier to control than a bicycle, and you can go with just push the accelerator. You don't have to worry about how much power is left when you go to work every day, because there is no such problem. The recommended speed is 10 to 15 mph on the road. If you charge at night, it is recommended to put it on the balcony or outside the door corridor. Sometimes it rains suddenly, and its waterproof function is very good. Everything is well sealed. The weather here doesn't seem to affect its functioning at all. Now many people like to play this scooter, and many people use it as a means of transportation to work. ... show more
