I recently got theElectric Scooter for my grandma, and it's been absolutely perfect for her. After I bought myself an electric bike last month, she kept eyeing it with interest, but I knew a traditional bike might be too much for her. The scooter turned out to be the ideal solution. It's stable, easy to use, and way safer than a bike for someone her age. She's been using it every day for over a week now, and it's completely changed how she gets around. There's a lake near our house that she loves visiting, and before this, she'd either walk (which was tiring) or drive (which felt unnecessary for such a short trip). Now, she just hops on her scooter and glides over there effortlessly. The 12" pneumatic tires and dual shock absorbers make the ride super smooth, even on slightly uneven paths, and the 400W motor gives her just enough speed without being intimidating. One thing that surprised me is how well it works for her, even though it's technically rated for ages 13 and up. The wider seat is comfortable, the dual brakes feel secure, and the little carry basket is handy for her to take along small things. My only wish is that there were more accessories available like a front basket or an option to convert the rear basket into a second seat but maybe Gotrax will add those later. Good scooters, just a lil on the weaker side unfortunately. I weigh 190. Does ok unless going up a slight hill ,like 4% grade. Speed does what it says which is fine for kids 150 ibs- ish or under,but adults, YOUR GONNA WANT MORE.

I bought the Gotrax A5 Electric Scooter with Seat for my 14-year-old son, and it’s been a great purchase so far. We were looking for something comfortable, safe, and not too fast—and this checked all the boxes. The seat is wide and padded, which makes longer rides easier on him, and the 12” air-filled tires plus rear shocks give a pretty smooth ride even on our cracked sidewalks. This has completely changed my daily commute and how I get around. It's definitely the best purchase I've made this year, and it far exceeded my expectations! The ride is incredibly comfortable, especially thanks to the wide seat and shocks! I've ridden scooters without seats and shocks before, and even small potholes would make my hands numb. The dual rear shocks filter out most of the vibrations from the road, making for a very smooth ride. The seat is just the right amount of firmness and wide enough, so even long rides don't feel tiring. Installation was also very easy, taking only minutes. The performance is stable and reliable, and the power is plentiful. Starting and accelerating on flat roads are smooth, and even climbing gentle slopes is effortless without any sudden power loss. With a top speed of 15.5 mph, and even stopping at the supermarket midway, a single charge lasts me two or three days, making it incredibly worry-free. The headlights are bright enough to clearly illuminate the road ahead while riding at night, and the taillights effectively alert vehicles behind me. Furthermore, the rear storage basket and center running board are a real bonus! I have plenty of space for groceries and a cup of coffee at the supermarket—it's incredibly practical!
