The media could not be loaded. Good fit for me, boot is comfy enough. But if you get these skates, replace the wheels and bearings. The wheels are very hard and won't have much grip on the road or rink, this may be important for a beginner. If you can't afford to replace the wheels or bearings, at MINIMUM clean and relubricate the bearings, see video for difference between stock and new. I even left some room on the original bearings to give it an extra chance. That extra room barely made a difference. But honestly I can see the benefit of wheels that don't spin feely if you are JUST starting out, but also if the bearings are too gunked up, they won't last that long. I also got new nylon lock nuts for the wheels after reading the wheels came off on some other reviews. I'm on a budget, but after spending the amount I did on new quality wheels and bearings, I probably should have just got higher quality skates. I got what I paid for. They should last me till I can afford better ones. Edit: I tried cleaning the stock bearings to keep as backups, and was unable to take off the sides to clean inside. There is probably a way to do this, but I don't have the tools to do it.

i LOVE my new skates. i actually got them a few weeks ago, but they are still great! i bought them in my exact size, and THEN found out skates usually ran big, so i was petrified. then when they got here, they fit like a glove. a perfect fit

The media could not be loaded. Nice and smooth! I haven't been on skates in almost 30 years and I was able to get a pretty decent stride after a few minutes. These skates are a great purchase if you aren't trying to spend a lot but still want to have fun while exercising! Go ahead... BUY THE SKATES!!

Great starter skates and your if your a beginner, doesn't have metal brackets. Didn't come with correct skate key, and I would go up half a size seems to run small.

I picked these because of the reviews, and was really disapointed, when I nearly broke my neck outside, and fell,I could not skate smoothly at all, but then I thought okay maybe they are not made for outside, so I went to the skating rink and same thing, the wheels were choppy not at all smooth to skate with, I had to end up paying for a rental because these just did not make the cut. The only thing I like is the material.

The plate on these beautiful skates sucks. If you are not an 80-pound child, then prepare to break the plate. I'm not sure if I got a faulty pair or if these plates are what they sell to everyone, but I feel very uncomfortable with plates that bend and shift while you skate. I could understand if I was overweight or something.
