These pans are the best! I have been a calphalon girl for decades so I think that is saying something. I had decided some time ago that I was going to get away from the normal teflon non stick by going ceramic. Took a long time to get there but here we are. What I have experienced is that these pans seriously are nonstick and easy to clean with a sponge. For me I like the way they heat up just a bit slower than the calphalon for more even cooking. They are actually diswasher safe which is new to me because I would have never had done that with my last set of pans. The kids did a couple times and ruined the finish on a couple of my calphalon. These look just as they did when I opened the box for the first time... Beautiful. I have always taken great care of my cookware and will continue with these...and run them thru the dishwasher...BONUS! I also ordered the 14" pan and it is the biggest fry pan I have ever had. LOVE THEM!!! ... show more

I ordered this set because I did not want the chemicals that are typically used in most nonstick cookware. I am happy with these and have cooked a variety of foods. However, it does stick somewhat when frying. However, overall is easy to clean, look great and I have washed by hand and so far still look brand new. I use the utensils it comes with also. I've waited a couple months to write a review on my Gotham Steel Frying Pans so I could ensure I speak with experience. I bought another set of frying pans at the same time and the two Gotham Steel frying pans have held up much better than the others. Wish I'd bought all sizes in this model. Easy to clean, truly non-stick and they come with lids. I've placed them in the oven and they do great. I do not put them in the dishwasher, although I'm sure you can. The color and brilliance of the pan is holding up meal after meal...washing after washing. ... show more

Not a bad pan for the price. Lightweight, VERY non-stick. But the surface is not durable against metal utensils. I mistakenly used metal tongs when searing a steak and scratched the surface. Doesn’t seem to be a problem yet but don’t make the same mistake I did. Also, the handle can get hot after too long on the stove. Be prepared to use a sleeve or pot holder. UPDATE 2/19/21: This pan started off pretty good and went downhill fast. Nonstick properties degraded quite quickly. VERY easy to scratch. You get what you pay for. I would recommend getting a good name brand pan. Many have a lifetime warranty and even if they don’t, they will last 5-10 years instead of less than 6 months. ... show more

I love this skillet. 98% on point from me * it doesn't burn food, but can get things crispy if that's what you want - like with fried potatoes. * no need for lots of butter or oil to keep the food able to slide along without getting stuck to the bottom - nothing sticks 😀 * cleanup is a breeze - so far, nothing has stuck to any part of the pan - not potatoes, not eggs, not cheese, not grilled buns or bread... so nice and easy cleaning - I haven't had to use much pressure to clean it * easy transference from stove to oven to plate * height of sides is such that you can't flip items (it's sides are too vertical instead of lower horizontal) you have to use a spatula or other turning device, but it makes up for that one issue in that it cooks so evenly across the skillet **** the only issue really, thst needs addressed is that the lid has a handle that is just metal... I'm sure it because thst allows the pan to go in the oven at higher temperatures with the lid on it, but it would be nice not to burn.myself from hitting a piece of my hand on that handle and it coming away like I'd been branded from it.... a coating for the lid's handle would be nice... but it's easy enough to deal.with.. So overall, this is an excellent buy. I love it. 98%. Only taking off points for the lid getting too hot and the skillet's handle getting too hot too.... everything else is awesome. The height of the sides is more than I expected, but it's such a small thing to deal with its negligible... So far it's very durable, easy to use, pretty... oh, it's just a little heavy for the skillet handle. It's a little hard to keep it even in the air. Trying to turn it one-handed is even harder, but again, those things can be worked around because everything else is do good. But in future, if it could be balanced better, it'd be appreciated. Just the right size for family cooking, or single use if you want some leftovers. ... show more
