After a year of having it, I can say that this is a great value for your money. There are 6 levels of heat. 1-2 are the only two I can fathom standing. Anything 3 and above are only temperatures familiar in hell. This has been the only electric blanket that’s actually lasted longer than 3 months without fading strength. Very soft. It fits my king bed well (great for this king). Weight is good. I don’t like Super heavy blankets. I never had any issues out of the smell other than it smelling “new” for a bit but that dissipated. Overall, it functions incredibly well. I always put it under another blanket or quilt to keep the heat in.

I live in the south, so it doesn’t get very cold here to often. As for my 70yr old mother-n-law, it gets too cold here in the winter. So I ordered her this blanket so she can stay warm on the go. She used it all last winter and couldn’t stop thanking me for the gift. So I say it is great to have if you are going to be on the go this holiday season from house to house. Ps. It is a plug in. light enough for anyone to carry around and very easy to load up and bring with you.

100% best decision i’ve made in a while. very soft and heats up really well, big enough for 5”2 woman like me but not sure if it would cover anyone taller than that. it’s wonderful if you’re trying to save money by not turning on the heat lol

The material on this blanket is super soft. The material is on the thinner side. It does not shed. I would have preferred it to be a little thicker. Not sure if that would interfere with the ability to heat or not. The blanket heats quickly and evenly. I washed it on a gentle cycle prior to use and it washed perfectly. It's definitely a "throw" size, great for snuggling up on the couch. This may sound weird, but the control device looks so outdated. You would think it would look more modern or sleek. While it definitely doesn't affect the performance of the blanket, it does look old lol.

The blanket was a gift. My daughter loved it. She has taken it our recent trip. She uses as she sleeps because she gets cold at night. She loves it when she is snuggling in front of the TV. So far it heats up quickly and is very cozy.

This blanket is SO soft and warm. It feels high-quality and is a good medium weight. The only thing I would ding it on is that the cord is pretty large and it can get overwhelming and tangled up when trying to move around. There was also a massive warning label sewn into the blanket (which is probably by law) but I ended up having to cut the whole thing off because it took up 1/4 of the blanket! That said, this blanket is super cozy and easy to use. I’m planning to buy another!
