Well made. Easy to assemble thanks to having the hardware for each step in separate bags. I upgraded from a Ray 5 10W that I was very pleased with but with the 20 my cut times are cut in half. Also engravings seem to have better definition of image details. I had some questions that I needed assistance from tech support and they have been very helpful. Another reason why I chose this machine was that it received good reviews from several experts on Youtube some said that it was comparable to Xtool machines.. I also purchased a Longer camera and it was easily installed and both work well with Lightburn. Definitely a good buy for any novice. Big performance with small cost, always a plus.

The media could not be loaded. This was a gift from my husband. An upgrade from my creality10W. This is a great machine! Idk why it sounds like whale songs, but it cuts like a hot knife thru butter! It was super easy to put together and once I got everything zeroed in, it works like a dream. Longer also has an extension kit to accommodate larger projects, I got the X-axis extension for under $100. I will be getting the Y-axis extension as soon as I get a bigger work table. Lol. Customer support is quick to address any concerns! I will definitely be staying with Longer for my laser needs!

Had problems with our new laser. There is not clear instructions to get it going. I had to learn most off of YouTube. The timing and consistency was still way off. So I tried to call Amazon and Longer 3d for help Amazon was good Longer 3d was horrible. First they never are able to accept a call then you leave a message they call back and send email about engraving when my problem at that point was cutting shapes for mother day crafts. So I kept trying research online. Finally longer 3d emails me back acts like they will help and kept sending me messages about cleaning the window on laser head. And wanting me to restart a machine that is less than 2 weeks old. Then they want to see my proof I bought machine so I sent it to them but I had already started a return. They send me a email about changing the motherboard that would have to take some time coming from china. I told them I could not wait so they said sent the date I bought it. Like I stole it or trying to scam them so I did that also. Thinking they would at least help me out somehow. And asked if I still had laser. I told them yes then when I sent the proof of purchase again it says return started so they sent back an email that they would help me with a return label. I wanted to get the extra options for my laser from longer 3d. I was going to just get a replacement but I think I will be looking at different companies now that I have had over a week of headaches from LONGER3d. Garbage customer service and communication.

The media could not be loaded. Well built product, easy to use, easy to assemble. Customer service was great, thanks Asta. After a month, the laser head faulted, but they got me a replacement and I haven't had a problem since. Definitely a great value compared to other 20W lasers.

I purchased the Longer Ray5 C with air assist and roller and cannot get the roller to function. The instructions (just 5 pages for the roller) and none with the laser. I called customer support, and they are only in China which means they are 12 hours ahead of us. The gentleman that I keep dealing with said they will email me the manuals and set up instructions, but I have not received it after 3 calls. I bought the laser to engrave custom pens, glasses etc. I'm extremely upset as this is impacting my business. The laser has great reviews and is mentioned in good regards, but I'm not seeing how. I gave it 2 stars only because they at least answer the phone but the technical aspect is appalling. Update. Customer service finally cane through and got me the software parameters I needed and got the machine working. 4 stars mostly due to the support. Still they need to clean house on their software publications, that would really be nice to have current, accurate data that could be easier to access. Update, Longer has gone way over the top to make thing right with me. They actually offered a full refund!!! I did not accept the offer but instead asked them to to send me the XY extension kit. The product works well and After the initial problem they have bent over backwards to make things right.

This is a great machine. I'm new to this but my daughter, her best friend and my granddaughter are wearing earrings I made. Ther is a learning curve but not to difficult. Lots of fun.

I have a Longer Ray 5 10 watt and I installed limit switches. After trying to load the firmware to the controller I had problems and ended up wiping it out. When I called the people at Longer and explained my problem they were very attentave with a genuine concern to help me. After exhausting every thing that could be done on line I was sent a new controller at no cost to me,with cables for the switches and the proper rfirmware. I am so impresed with their dedication to help me my upgrade to a 20 watt is a Longer.The support was beyond expectations. I'll continue to do buisness with Longer and proudly recomend them. Also a special thanks to Ryan for his patience and support.
