This punching bag does the trick. It’s not a competitive heavy canvas or anything and my black belt hubby could use a bigger one- but for now it scratches that itch. It’s sturdy and big enough that it’s satisfying to hit or kick. Something worth noting is that this doesn’t come with filling or mounting hardware- you have to do that yourself. They suggest filling it with old clothes which works well- though after a few hits the clothes get packed in and you have to fill it more- that’s just part of the filling process. This seems like a good transition bag- good for people getting into (or back into) training. It’s. not as big or heavy as it could be but it does what you need it to do- take a hit and last. A punching bag seems like a good way to relieve stress so when I saw one available on Vine, I requested it and here we are, nearly six months later. This review is of: GoSports Fillable Punching Bag Training Aid – Great for Boxing, MMA, Muay Thai and More, Fill with Clothes and Rags. When the bag arrived, we checked out the directions and realized we would need something with which to fill it. So began a two month period of gathering up clothes that weren't good enough to donate, same with blankets and other linens. Finally, we had a big enough pile. Then, I had to wait around until my husband to it. The guy who said he would love punching bag, sure took his time getting around to hanging it. As you can see by the pictures, it's pretty great. I think it could even have used a few more clothes or blankets. My husband found a place to hang it that would support the weight. Where my husband's hand is on the chain is the point where the chain swivels, so it never gets bound up or stuck on itself. It's only been up for a few days, and I've enjoyed hitting it enough to look into some hand protection. Even being a little light on content, I can see where this would hurt my knuckles if I punched for any length of time. So far, we're very happy with our new punching bag. My apologies that we took so long to hang it up, but it has been worth the wait. ... show more

Whether you have some old clothes sitting around or want to go a little heavier and fill with sand or similar, the bag fills easily. A Zippered top section allows the complete diameter of the bag to be open to adding material inside. The bag itself is a heavy duty canvas type material with thicker bands at the top connected to the included chains. Four chains go upwards towards a central point which includes another connection piece (metal loop) that can connect to other hardware (not included) that may be attached to your ceiling or similar location. I got this for my son, he's 11 and in MMA. I tried an inflatable one first and looking back it's rather obvious that the inflatable one was doomed to failure. This one is nice and much cheaper than the pre-filled heavy bags. The pre-filled options cost much more to ship throughout the supply chain and the end cost is passed on to the consumer. This one arrives flat and empty in a little box. It's well made and when filled actually works very well. If you are looking for an adult heavy bag then I'd fill it with something more than rags or at least supplement it with more than rags. For a teen or younger the filling with rags is PERFECT. Perfect for getting your stress out. The fact that it's fillable means that it's easy to store and take out when you need it. The materials on this is perfect. I've had this for a few months now and it's held up really well.
