This mat is durable, handsome, and (most importantly) cheap. I included pictures to show my general approach to dealing with water damage from my cat. The heavy glass mixing bowl does most of the heavy lifting, but the mat and laminate is absolutely necessary to counter the insidious nature of moisture and it's effect on my rental. Cats play in water; it's a fact. Although she might be doing it for fun, I'm convinced that water-pawing is way of locating the border between air and water. Falling in the water was a death sentence in ancestral times. Rather than trying to stop my cat from being a cat, I feel as though my approach is better.

I bought this because my potting wheel pedal (like a sewing machine pedal, but much larger and not spring activated) kept sliding on the epoxy studio floor. It's fixed that issue completely. It's an off label use, but reflects well on this product's primary purpose: 1. It stays put under variable pressure at a 45 degree angle. 2. It keeps working after getting dust on it. 3. It's extremely easy to clean. 4. It doesn't degrade when stepped on or peeled up. Also, it doesn't smell funny.

I bought this not to protect my floor from voracious slobbery dogs. I bought it to protect my workspace table from my new interest in resin casting. I started out using a flimsy-a$$ silicone sheet so thin, you could see through. I had uncured resin spilling over, ruining self healing cutting board and my wooden workbench. I will say Iโm not a very neat person. This mat is really big. It has a rim o contain leaks. It is also heavy weight. Itโs now an essential part of hobby activities, helping me to contain spills of any kind and saving me from messy clean-ups. Bet you didnโt expect a review like this, Gorilla.

Just got it. Edges are lower than I expected, my fault, I should have read the specs. Not totally sure how I feel about it yet. As soon as I placed it down and put his dishes on it, he started licking the mat, like all over the mat. ๐คทโ๏ธ. Then he picked up the edge with his teeth. I have a feeling I'm going to have to watch him with it. I don't want him trying to eat it. If you have flat bottom bowls, they will slide. His water dish doesn't budge.

I bought several of these. One is, of course, for my dog's feeding area, but the others I used for under the sink vanities that couldn't fit regular ones. I was frustrated that most of the vanity under cabinets were not available. I guess they only make 22' depths, so these dog ones fit fine and I'm happy they do because just in case the sink leaks, at least these will keep it from getting all wet. I'm happy with this product and give me peace of mind if any water leaks from the sinks.

We used to have a rug under the water bowl and had to constantly wash it, it was always saturated! But this mat the clean up is so easy! Just a few paper towels does the trick! Can even wash it in the sink, or probably in the dishwasher (don't have one). Durable material and it sticks to the floor, no sliding!
