I purchased this 6x9 rug in 2021. It does shed but not excessively, yes if you sit on it it will show on your clothing. It also gets matted in high traffic areas, like where you sit regularly. Although it’s washable, I would only sweep it and shake it out frequently because it seemed to be too large for my washer and I was afraid it would mess up. Well I decided to wash it. Added both photos for lighting color differences. It’s a light tan it looks just like the listing photo! Super soft the grip on the back is completely waterproof . The puppy pee’d on it day 2 lol it washed right out and none of it got on my floor. I did not dry it in the dryer. Air dry only

The rug is so soft, so nice, not moving at all on the floor. So easy to clean, because the dirt doesn't go way to into rug, it stays up. When it came, I firstly took Hair Dryer and then went with low temeparture all over the rug, so it can get a little shape of the rug hair, and to take the whole shape of the rug.
