Bough these for my three year old who requested ballet shoes. Ballet shoes won’t work for everyday shoes as they are designed specifically for dancing and don’t have the required soles a toddler needs for walks, park, etc. these were beyond perfect for her. She thinks she’s a real ballerina and as a bonus they are covered in sparkles. We have had them for several months and I have not noticed any glitter falling off. They still look practically new. They are not different to put on although they do require more effort than a pair of normal slip ons. She loves them and had to show them off to all her family as soon as we opened the box. I bought these for my daughter after she got upset that the cheap plastic ones from the store didn’t fit her feet. She was so happy when I showed her these, she wanted to put them on immediately. So far, she’s worn them with her mermaid costume every day since they arrived. They’re not the easiest to get on and they feel a bit stiff, but she seems to be ok with that. I like that they can’t slip off her feet as she runs around playing dress up. A little glitter has flaked off, but that’s to be expected. pretty shoe so disappointed in the fit I ordered a 9.5 toddler shoe and thank goodness for the straps on the shoe because my granddaughter still has my whole thumb length of room. I can't send them back because I needed them for a specific day. Very disappointed
