We bought this basketball hoop for my son for Christmas. He was so excited. We were disappointed to quickly learn there is no adjustable knob to adjust the height as advertised. You have to remove several bolts and nuts to adjust the height. The description is incredibly misleading. Putting it together as a huge pain, the instructions are tiny and unclear. Once assembled our son played almost daily for a month and we quickly noticed the metal is incredibly flimsy and soft. It bends easily and the rim is now misshaped. The quality is very poor. I contacted customer service who then directed me to the claims department. They suggested I disassemble the basketball hoop and return it. This is their response: “ If the customer can't dismantle the item to return it, she can ask a friend to help her. If she changed mind and is willing to keep this item with a discount of $35.” Such a joke. Stay away from this basketball hoop and company altogether. Directions could be better, can see why most people would send it back, have to remove a bolt to adjust height so grandkids can't do that, should have got one that was easier to adjust the height, pretty sturdy, would get a better one if older kids playing on it, definitely could have done a better job on directions, just threw them away watched the video ... show more

The basketball frame is of very good quality and easy to install. I installed it according to the steps written in the instructions. There are three sticks in total. I only used two sticks to install a height suitable for a 6-year-old child. It's great!
