Bought this lawnmower because it was getting much too expensive to hire a gardener considering the property to be mowed is not large by any means. I decided I better mow the lawn myself like I used to do. This lawnmower appealed to me because of the light weight and the light price. I figured that with a bad back problem, I needed the lightest one I could find on the market. This one fit the bill. It is most easy to use and offers little resistance when mowing- whether pushing forward or pushing back in reverse. I set the wheels in the middle position of three for cutting length- (as someone else mentioned, the wheels have to be taken off and put back on to adjust the height- but it is not difficult to do this). I would recommend that you just set it at one height and leave it--- the middle is probably best. The only difficulty I had assembling it, was snapping the two piece plastic grass bag together. I would recommend that you snap one side entirely together before snapping together the other side. It will not snap together by lining both sides up and trying to push it all together. Other than that, I had no other problems with assembly. So far, I've used this mower three times and I would be happy even if it just makes it through one whole season. After all, it is most moderately priced and I would not expect it to work forever as you would expect a much heavier and much more expensive lawnmower. And it is a good choice if you have a bad back!!! I use a 100 foot cord --, 13Amp- 14 gauge-It is important to use the proper gauge, so be aware whichever lawn mower you purchase. I tried to look into buying replacement blades should I ever need them, but so far i can't find any place to buy them for this particular model...Again, even if the mower lasts just one whole season, I'm well ahead of the game financially--and I get a little exercise as well!. This is a great lawnmower that I would highly recommend ... and If any problem comes up in the near future with it, I will amend this review. UPDATE-April 27, 2020: - Just wanted to add to my review from last year that the lawnmower made it throughout the entire season without any problems. This mower is truly amazing. I just used it for the first time this year and it is still working fine. I did read some customer reviews that were negative, but my experience was completely positive. I do see that it has gone up in price from last year (currently $140.. which is $24 more than I paid last year), but I still think it is worth the price. I would even consider buying another one in the future-especially if the price should drop substantially near the end of the season as I noticed it did last year. 2nd UPDATE: May 27, 2022. I just started using this same mower for what is its 4th season. I've used it 2 times already this season and...No problems. Through the years, the wheels may have to be tightened and once or twice one came off, but it's so easy to simply just screw it back on. I recently bought a back-up mower (the very same one) a month ago when I saw it was priced at $100-couldn't resist that price. I turned it on briefly after assembling it and it seems to be fine, but I don't have to use it yet because the older one is still working great! 3rd UPDATE: June 15, 2025. I can't believe that the original lawnmower from 2019 is still working fine this season. Even though I bought another one a few years ago as a back-up, I haven't had a need to use it--The old one is still working fine! The only maintenance..I sometimes turn it sideways to access the blades which I sharpen for a minute or 2 with a cheap sharpening stone that i purchased at Dollar Tree. And I probably have done that only once for a whole season..That's all I do. This may be the best value I've ever had for my money for any product/appliance.

This mower is very cute as well as functional. Out of the box there is a small assembly step to add on the wheels and handle but then you are ready to mow. The electric motor starts right up with the push of a button. It is plenty powerful for my yard which is just normal grass, and it's not too loud. The mower is very maneuverable and you can easily mow with one hand to guide the mower and the other hand to monitor the cord. I have a small yard and specifically wanted a corded mower so I don't have to deal with batteries for something I only use for a few minutes once a week at most. This mower has a single flat mower blade that cuts approx the same swath as a manual push mower but is much simpler to maintain/sharpen than the curved blade design of a manual mower. Also, this mower weighs only about 15lbs and requires much less effort than a manual mower. It does exactly the job I needed perfectly, couldn't be happier.

I bought a house on a hill. A big hill. I paid lawn service to do my lawn for years and they came out with four guys and weed wacked my lawn. They couldn't use a mower they told me, hills too steep. Well I lost my job and I cut lawn service. I tried using a gas AND a battery powered weed wacker but, due to a shoulder injury, they were too heavy and I couldn't do it. I then tried multiple types of lawn mowers, but they were too heavy to push up and down my vertical hills. This little toy lawn mower is perfect for me. It's SOOOOO light!! I can push it uphill. I can push it down hill. I can twirl this above my head like a baton! I used it for the first time today and it chopped through 5 inch high grass with ease! It got caught in a rut, I just picked it up and moved it. Down sides The wheels are plastic and don't spin well. I still can't get the grass catcher together, so I had to use as a mulcher. That sucks cause I wanted to add to my compost It's VERY lightweight. On a hillside it'll roll easily. Plus side, as soon as you let go of the lever it shuts off Speaking of the lever, I have nerve damage in my hand. Having to hold that hand lever down to the bar was hard after a while. Plus side, it starts back up super easy! Overall, after my first mow, I think it's great. Highly recommend to people who have issues with pushing or holding other lawn care equipment.

I bought this in August last year (had it for 10 months) to mow a small backyard. Between last fall and this summer, I've mowed my back yard probably 6 times. This last time, I started mowing, and after a minute it stopped cutting. The engine was running but the blade wouldn't spin and it started smoking. Not sure what broke but the blade just won't spin. I contacted the company and they told me I was out of luck since I didn't purchase the warranty. If you do buy this, make sure you spend the $10 for the extended warranty. When it did work, it cut well enough, although it's definitely small.

I love this little green eating machine! I use the leaf catcher, and some may find it small, but for me it is perfect. I wouldn't think it would be great for a large lawn, but for my tiny postage stamp of a yard, it is perfect. Light and easy to use and keep clean.

Seems like a nice item for small areas if you don't mind messing with a cord. Should be easy to maneuver and store. Don't skimp on the cord. My problem is of my own making. I looked at a lot of small mowers before finally deciding to order this one. Then I decided to cancel the order only to find out it said shipped (rather quickly I thought). I never order an item without free returns but somehow I missed that on this one. Cost me $11.52 to return this item. My advice is never order unless free returns is specified.
