If you choose this, do not do any assembly until you check to see if it actually works! I hadn’t expected a fabulous lawnmower here, but expected it to work when I received it! I managed to assemble it, despite the tiny poor quality line drawings in the instructions and the incomplete parts list. I plugged it in, pressed the safety switch, and squeezed the lever. It briefly turned on before stopping.And yes, the outlet and extension cord works for other electric tools I have! Since the electric connections were assembled prior to leaving the factory, none of the assembly I did would had affected it anyway. I have an electric hedge trimmer and electric weed trimmer, so I’m very familiar with electric yard equipment. After wasting my time assembling, and waiting on hold to talk to someone from the company (and not getting through) I just had to spend more time taking it apart, and packing it into the box. I’m not happy! To the makers and sellers of this lawnmower: You owe me for all the time, paper and ink for printing return labels, and gas to and from package drop off store. So far that adds up to $80.00! ... show more

Purchased the Goplus mower for our very small yard. Used it 7-8 times; left for vacation only to return and the mower simply quit working. Superbuy, the Goplus company immediately replied to my email. They offered ways to fix it; offered to pay for an electrician to fix it; then after a few more emails back and forth, fully credited my Amazon purchase. Their customer service person, Verona was quick to respond and eager to be helpful. As soon as they realized this particular unit had a bad mower, the credited my account. I hope that my mower was the exception and not the rule as it functioned perfectly at first. They made it right which these days I greatly appreciate! ... show more

It does exactly what it's supposed to do cut your lawn. That's all can ask for. Though it's not wireless and you need to buy at least a 100ft heavy duty extension cord. It's worth the money. Better that having to go buy gas. Less pollution.

The blade is driven through a transmission by a high speed universal motor. The brushes don't look especially long life and there are no replacements in the box. As received, the thermal motor protect is wired across the motor. It must be in series if the motor is to run. Thick plastic is between it and the motor so I don;t trust it. I don't know if it is auto resetting or single use but in any case should not be relied upon. It works fine on thin grass with clumps of heavy grass but is likely to overheat on continuous heavy grass. ... show more
