I have been searching for a durable rug to withstand kiddos and dirt, while giving a classy look, this turned out perfect. I was hesitant about jute rugs because I tried a few that were just too bulky, dirty and uncomfortable to walk on. This weave is much smaller and also seems much more durable. It also is very clean feeling as opposed to the others I tried. It is by no means soft to walk on but it’s not uncomfortable to me. I think for the durability with kids, without being super bulky, this is a great middle ground. I got the beige ivory and it brightens the room a lot. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the look of this natural fiber rug. It is a very tight weave and able to be used under our 2 office desks. And, yes, the rolling office desk chairs do roll over it. I thought the green color would be ugly (it was the cheapest color at the time, hence why I chose it) but it actually is quite nice looking in person. I bought this to make a cat tree with; the texture is perfect for that. I would not recommend walking on it with bare human feet though. In outfitting my new home office, I had in mind exactly what I was looking for in a rug. From color to size this fits the bill perfectly. My only other comment is that, like other previous comments, this rug is not comfortable to walk on with bare feet. I hope that over time it softens a little.

I was pleasantly surprised. This is a good quality rug. It has even nicely finished edges. I’m using it in the entry and it compliments the hardwood floors nicely. They are medium brown. Rug is beautiful to look at, looks great in my space. Color is somewhat different from the pictures online, has slighter yellow tone, but appearance changes with the light in the room. Looks beige/yellow in daylight, yellow tone tends to lean more towards beige at night. I bought the brown rug. Camera does not pick up the yellow tone. Laid flat, no wrinkles, almost immediately. Now for the bad/ugly. This rug is extremely uncomfortable to walk on with bare feet!! It's like walking on a pebble beach barefoot. Guys, I'm not exaggerating here. After I laid it down, I removed my slippers to walk across it, walked around the rug to retrieve the slippers. I was saying ouch! Ouch! Ouch! to myself! But it's so pretty!! I can't decide if I want to keep it, but I had to mention this. Some reviews mentioned this, but I thought "how bad could it be", now I know. But it's so pretty!!!! Vacuumed well, I used a stick vac, no beater bar. Slight fiber shedding, probably because it's new. Hope my experience helps you make your decision. Edit: I decided to keep the rug. yes, it's uncomfortable to walk on, but we wear indoor slippers, it's so attractive in my space.
