    • It works! But small warning if you have a Prius
It arrived charged, which was a pleasant surprise, and the first thing you do when you get an item like this is you test it!! My Prius is a 2nd generation, 2008, so I turned on the headlights and interior for like 10 minutes, lol. And the car wouldn't start. This is where the notice/warning comes in: Prius car batteries are much smaller than standard batteries. This booster pack is great because the plastic on the handles prevents the positive and negative from touching, which is a very good thing because you can damage the pack that way. The problem is - prius batteries are VERY small. The positive terminal is a little screw popping out of a hex nut, lol. Because of this, it took some finagling to get the positive terminal connected. The negative is very easy. Car started on the first attempt! It definitely eats into the booster packs power, so I recommend charging between jumps. GREAT investment. Low cost. I bought this based on the recommendation of a review site I trust, and it looks like their testing has come through again. I’m very happy with this purchase. The battery in my Corolla is nearing the end of its life, and I push it by attending drive-in movies fairly frequently. That means sitting for 2-3+ hours with the engine off and accessories on, listening to the movie through the car stereo. That’s asking a lot of a car battery that also powers the parking mode of a dash cam! I bought this during Prime Days, charged it annd stuck it in the trunk, and I’ve already used it twice! Both times, my engine turned over immediately. This little beauty has more than enough oomph. It’s very simple to use, if you’re at all used to jumper cables, and the size and little carrying case are great for an emergency kit. This is a great 21st c. replacement for the jumper cables I’ve carried for three decades. No more waiting for someone else, no more worries about properly positioning your car(s) so the cables can stretch. After two jumps, the battery light is still on full bars, so I haven’t bothered to charge it again. We’ll see how many jumps it takes to get down to one bar, just out of curiosity. I haven’t had to use the flashlight or other charging abilities, though I did test them, just in case. As always, if something changes one way or the other, I’ll update this review. ~~~~~~~~~~ Update after two months of owning it: I’ve had to jump it at least eight times now, and the battery is still more than halfway charged! It is still showing 3 out of 4 bars as of this morning. I’ve decided not to charge it until it goes down to one line (or I replace the battery), just because I want to see how long it will go. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get a new battery before it runs out. As always, I’ll update if anything (else) extraordinary happens. ... show more

This is a must have for anyone who drives. It comes with everything that you need and so much more. This is our third one to buy and with our kid starting to drive we knew he had to have one. What you get - The actual battery pack - A strong and durable case that protects it - Detachable jumper cables - A USB C cable to charge it. This can also be used to charge your phone if you have a USB C on your phone How to use it This is incredibly easy to use. While it does come with a charge, I recommend that you charge it before first use. Once charged you can just store it in your car till you need it. It comes with detachable cables that hook up. They only go in one way. On top there is this little light that comes on letting you that it's ready to use. When you hook it up to the battery that same light will tell you if you have connected the jumper cable correctly to the battery. If you have there is a button on the top that you can hit to give the battery a little umph to charge a little faster. What's on the actual battery pack There are a few plugs that you have with this jumper. To start you will get the plug for the actual jump starter cables. This is the blue one You also get a charging plug, to charge the battery pack. Three USB plug to charge your phone or any device that you can run out of a USB. I had a small pickup truck with a completely drained battery. Jump starting or this device worked so we hooked battery up to a trickle charger and left overnight. Truck still wouldn’t start but the interior lights now came on. We gave this small 1500amp just starter a try and the truck started right up!! Love this thing and it is very small compared to those very large jump starters. This comes with a bag that holds everything. This device is a little larger than the bigger iphones and not heavy at all. Would definitely buy again and will prob get another one for our other vehicle. ... show more
