"I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Hompow Google TV 4K HD Projector, and I am absolutely blown away! The picture quality is truly amazing, delivering stunning 4K clarity that makes everything pop. What impressed me most is how bright and vibrant the image remained, even with some lights on in the room. This isn't just a 'lights out' projector; it handles ambient light remarkably well, which is a huge plus for everyday viewing. I even used it outside on my patio, and the picture quality there was really awesome too! Beyond the visuals, the ease of setup was incredibly refreshing. Getting everything up and running was a breeze, and navigating the interface using Google Assistant via voice commands felt seamless and intuitive. An unexpected bonus was the ability to control the projector using my Android phone via Bluetooth; it responded even faster than the included remote, which was a pleasant surprise and incredibly convenient. The sound quality was also very good when connected to my soundbar, providing a rich audio experience for movies and shows. What's more, the built-in speaker performed very well in that outdoor patio environment, which was a huge plus for casual outdoor viewing without needing extra equipment. This projector has been awesome. The Bluetooth audio connects automatically every time I turn it on, which makes setup super quick. The video quality is really impressive — clear, bright, and perfect for evenings. It was easy to get up and running right out of the box, and the controls are pretty straightforward. I’ve used it for streaming and gaming, and it’s handled everything well.

Great projector at a great price. Works as advertised and better than most of the reviews give it credit for. Pros: Easy to setup, good sound quality, great picture quality. Cons: Runs a bit hot which is OK, but either the fan they use is under powered, or the built in power switcher is low efficency and needs to offload this task to an exterior dc converter. fan might not be static pressure fan either. Its intake is tiny and the output is 4x the size with mesh screens choking what area the intake has. I haven't tried bluetooth as its not able to be screen shared to. All in all, I'm no engineer and this unit gets 9/10... with that 1/10 fearing for how long it might last at those temps.

Google play built in is a game changer. I’ve had a lot of projectors and always had to use a fire stick in the back. This one has Netflix and all of that built in so only one remote and no extra wires. It a little more expensive but worth it for the convenience and quality

The media could not be loaded. Good value for the money. I use this to cast from my phone - which you need the Google TV integration for. Picture quality is good and of course you get a huge screen if you position it right. The remote works well at pretty much any angle, and the unit itself isn't very loud. The built in speakers aren't too bad either, if you're just watching YouTube/dialogue. I have it set up in the bedroom slant wall - and the projection tilt/angle adjust makes the image perfect even on the uneven surface. Happy with the purchase.

Caution: I bought this bc a lot of people purchased it and it had good reviews. It’s one of the worst projectors you can purchase. I’ve also owned multiple projectors so it’s not like this is the only one I purchased. It broke almost right away. Half the time when I turn it on it has stripes at different parts of the screen . When I turn it off and on sometimes they disappear but usually it’s messed up. It’s never moved from the spot I put it when I got it. Picture is complete ***. Also alllllllll of the other projectors I’ve purchased for less money have been easier to focus and have lasted way longer. Purchase the warranty for this one because it breaks almost immediately. None of the receptors for the cords last and the hdmi ports break immediately. Picture is constantly blurry unless you have it super close to the screen and which also happens to be closer than any normal ceiling height. So basically you can’t put it on the ceiling mount, you can’t put it behind the couch, you can put it on the coffee table in front of the couch and move everything super close to the screen. Whoever is selling these needs to stick to their other form of income, which is hopefully not selling subpar electronics with Amazon stamp of approval. The manufacturers should not even be in business and the people who gave this a good rating are delusional. After owning many projectors of the same price and same claimed quality this is the only one I have bought that is completely full of it. Purchase any projector besides this one and if you do get this one get the warranty and just send it back every week, and then buy a second one from a different manufacturer for backup. If you want your kids to play outside more, buy this bc anything is better than using this. It is One of the worst things I have ever bought on Amazon period. Amazon itself shouldn’t back this product. Would love a chat with anyone in charge of anything to do with this bc they are not doing their job. If you want to look at cheap blurry screen or not look at anything at all, buy this, it’s perfect.
