Bought this to replace auxiliary battery in 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with the 2.0L turbo. Was getting the auto stop/start error. Going through the passenger fender well rather than top down seemed to be the right installation decision. Never did it before but with that method and taking my time it took me about 90 minutes beginning to end with only non-powered hand tools. I recently replaced the main battery in a hurry and didn't replace the auxiliary battery at that time. Probably not a good idea, but forgot about it until I started getting the warning on the instrument panel. If you are only replacing the auxiliary battery, be sure to disconnect the main battery before replacing this auxiliary battery so the electrical system is completely unpowered and clears the warning code. Battery was a perfect fit and so far works like a battery should. I didn't have a charger so wasn't able to top the battery off before installation. After installation, the instrument warning cleared but stop/start still said not available. After a short trip and letting the vehicle charging system do its business and like it or not, the auto stop/start system is fully functional again.

I used this battery to replace the auxiliary battery in my Pacifica. The Mopar batteries just do not last. Hopefully this one will do better. unfortunately only time will tell. Fit was exact except for the battery connection posts which had to be unscrewed from the dead battery. This is easily achieved with a mini socket. The Goodyear comes with holes in the battery terminals that the posts are simply screwed into exactly the same as the Mopar original battery. Delivery from Amazon was faster than going to the repair shop and even the store, which did not have an equivalent battery. Ordered in the evening arrived 6 am from Amazon, installed by 7 am. Amazon is amazing!

No because what was showed in the picture was not what it was. The battery was actually little and It look like it fits in a motorcycle. I was really mad because I expected it look like a car battery.

If your battery dies in your jeep, after sitting a few days, it’s your auxiliary battery, which is underneath your fuse box that is dead. Mine had 8 volts on it. When the Jeep is sitting the auxiliary battery feeds the computer if that auxiliary battery is low voltage or dead. It’s going to pull from your main battery. On my 2020 Wrangler, I was able to just go underneath the car on my back move the fender wall flap over remove the 3/10 mm screws and drop the battery down. Do yourself a favor and take pictures so when you’re putting it back up. It takes a little figuring and fiddling around to get it to seat right but then you’re able to put the box cover back on it. Push it up and throw in your three screws. When I connected that auxiliary battery, I got a little spark, knowing the main battery was out out of the jeep I knew that was my problem of my main battery dying when the Jeep sat for a couple days because that auxiliary battery was now drawing from the computer and that’s what its job is.
