This battery was placed in a 2019 VW Jetta R-line and, so far, has performed as expected, and the price cannot be beat locally, this is almost half the price. Originally, I purchased a standard flooded battery from O'Reilly's that cost more than this AGM version, and it failed miserably after a few months. We drive short distances with lots of starting and stopping, and a standard flooded battery can't reach a proper charge without some amount of long distance and/or highway driving. The AGM can charge at a higher rate, and is designed for cars with auto stop (i.e. shuts off at traffic lights) Note: If swapping batteries with different technologies (EFB, AGM, Flooded), you will need to register/adapt the battery using an ODB scan tool, otherwise the charging characteristics may over/under charge the battery. We've only had the battery installed for a few weeks, if anything changes, I'll edit the review as needed. But so far so good ... show more
