    • Far less expensive. Very efficient. As advertised
System easy to install. So far it’s cooling home efficiently. Unfortunately Lots less expensive than buying through a local distributor. Licensed hvac completed installation and signed for warranty. I saved over $2000.00 by removing old system and having an individual local hvac install. Very easy

    • BEWARE! READ BEFORE YOU BUY!
In August I ordered this Goodman furnace/heat pump but was replaced by the seller with a Luxaire, they said the Goodman would take several months to receive. Upon delivery, our installer told us the unit is set-up backward and is designed to move air up not down the way we needed it (our duct work is under our house). I called the company and they said it didn't matter! That the system can move air either way, or I could lay it on its side. I have a furnace compartment next to our hall bathroom, if I laid the unit on its side my kids would have to jump over it to get into their bathroom. If the unit can work either direction, why is there a condensation tray? Our installer had to switch everything around to make it work. I've now replaced the circuit board twice, the fan motor, and the control board for the fan motor, AT MY EXPENSE! Our heat pump is still not working or has ever worked since installing it. According to Luxaire, the equipment is not under warranty because I purchased it online, is what Luxaire told our installer. After the initial installation costs, we've already spend an additional $1100 and it's still not working properly. I would not have made this purchase if known the problems we were going to have. ... show more

    • Energy efficient only uses electricity
Because the heat is electric, it take time to heat up. Unlike gas where your heat flow is immediate, electric heat takes time to warm up. Better for environment than gas, but I have not seen this months bill yet!!
