Directions: Assembly & Usage Instructions 1. Firmly grasp opposite sides of the planter top and lift upward to remove. 2. Place planter top aside and fill the base with 2–3 inches of your preferred cat litter. 3. Align grooves on planter top with tabs on base, using the litter box entrance as a guide, then securely press together. 4. Insert the carbon odor filter into the designated slot on the planter top. 5. Place artificial plant stem securely into the ½” opening atop the planter. 6. Arrange decorative florist moss around plant stem, covering the filter for an attractive finish. 7. Maintain cleanliness by regularly removing litter and washing with soap and water; towel dry thoroughly.

This litter box was quick and easy to assemble. Yes, you do have to carefully place the top of the planter onto the bottom base, but it only takes seconds to place it and feels secure once the top has been correctly seated onto the bottom. Yes, the artificial plant looks like an artificial plant. Not sure about you but I'd much prefer to see an artificial looking artificial plant than an open litter box, especially a used open litter box. It does take a few minutes to bend the leaves into a satisfying look, much like when you put up an artificial Christmas tree, only much smaller. In fact, I might even decorate this little tree during holidays! This might be the largest litter box I've ever seen, which is perfect for my 21-pound cat. If you have an 8-pound cat, you might consider something smaller. Although it was designed with a top-vented filter system and moss to help absorb smells, I'm not sure how much odor control you can expect from a litter box with a 9" x 9" opening on the side. Although I'm sure a covered litter box helps with odor control, I'll continue to count on my kitty litter to do that job until I clean out the box each day. The opening is nearly 7" from the floor which, very pleasantly, resulted in less tracking of litter than his previous box. My previous litter box was open, so one of my cats was reluctant to use it at first. I set the top aside, near the bottom, for a couple of days until she became more comfortable using the box. No problem with either cat using the covered box now. I placed this box inside my home but will likely purchase a second one to place on the lanai. Looks great. Hides box fairly well. Closed box provides more privacy and (feeling of) protection for the cat(s). Easy to clean. WAY better than the wood furniture enclosures which still need a litter pan. Litter and occasional pee would still get outside of the pan and start to destroy the enclosure base, eventually leaking pee onto the floor underneath. I used those for years and this enclosure is far superior. Suggestions: - Replace silly paper stuff provided with some polished rocks. It totally makes it look fancy. - To clean the fake plant of top, take it off and rince it in the sink or with a hose outside. Cleans well and is quick. - If the colors available don't work with your space, spray paint the outside (not the inside, since cats scratch at the walls to "bury" their business. ... show more

I wanted a creative idea for my litter box as I have quite a few cats and am tired of looking at the boring litter boxes and smelling them for that matter. I saw this and thought it looks nice but a bit pricier than I wanted to pay. But, I thought why not? I treated my kitties to this nice litter box. It is much larger than I expected which is nice. The spawns of Satan that use it though, took no time to tear the Spanish moss apart. So hour one that had to go. It really does help keep the smell down, super grateful for that. I really like the concept and it looks super nice in my bedroom. The only issues I have are that the lid does take a bit to fiddle with to fit on and the actual round litter box inside has handles which is great for cleaning but unfortunately, if your spawns flip litter like mine the litter gets under the inside box because it falls through those spaces between the handles and actual flower pot. Truthfully, I think these evil little fools enjoy watching me clean up after them so, I guess it is a win for them! A pretty potty and a way to make mom servant work more for them. Good product! I have 3 cats and have tried so, so many different options. I bought this about 6 months ago and I'm about to buy another one. This litter box is so beautiful and most guests don't even know there's a litter box in the room until of my cats go digging around in it. It's nice that it comes with a liner, but I actually don't use because my cats kinda spray upwards and it just goes under the liner, making more of a mess. But it's really easy to clean either way. I do have a silly orange cat that really likes to lick the fake plant leaves for some reason.. but everything is pet safe and they're holding up very well against the one orange brain cell. :) The only con I can really think of is that sometimes it can be a little difficult to line it up and put the top back on after cleaning. I don't struggle with it, but my husband NEVER puts it on right. (But even when he puts it on wrong and there's way less space inside, my cats STILL use it and it still looks nice.) ... show more

Great quality. True to size. Esthetically pleasing. Super easy to assemble. Comes with a inside basin, that you'll need to push down properly inorder to secure it inside and prevent it from moving. Overall its a great buy. I would definitely recommend. Hoping my cats will use it🙏.
