  • Wonderful experience and markers!
Color: set C Style: Copic Set C Sketch Marker (Pack of 72) Pattern Name: Marker
Packing: I could tell as I opened the box that the case wouldn't be cracked. Just because of the kind of bubblewrap the seller used around the smaller, more standard kind. So I guess for these 72 packs, whether or not it cracks really just depends on what kind of packing inventory each individual seller uses. Having read all the reviews of these things, I'd already made my peace with there being cracks so I wouldn't be disappointed, and in this case, was pleasantly surprised instead. Shipping: Even taking time zones into consideration, I'm fairly certain my package somehow got from a port in Korea to a hub in Kentucky in like 12 hours, without any expedited shipping payment on my part. And then from there, it got to my state and my house quickly too. My other 72-marker sets, coming from other sellers, weren't QUITE as quick to ship, but I guess all these exporters take their shipping very seriously, which is very satisfying. Marker Condition: No issues, no leaking, no dry markers, etc. Package was brand new, markers swatched beautifully, blended well. Feathered on sketch paper, didn't feather on smooth paper, bled through non-marker paper, etc. etc. Typical alcohol marker business. Nothing surprising for the medium. 72 Set C: If you were to just get one set, this would probably be the set to get specifically for landscape work. With all the greens, blue-greens, earths, and greys included in Set C, there's probably not a bit of rock, earth, or greenery you couldn't figure out, supplemented with all the reds and red-violets that you could use to warm up the shadows. Only thing is that you'd struggle to get a blue sky into your landscape because there's a set of blues in here but nothing very dark or very light. Wonderful set, but probably needs to be used in conjunction with other sets if you're into something other than landscape. ... show more

  • Excellent product, great service and support!
Color: set C Style: Copic Set C Sketch Marker (Pack of 72) Pattern Name: Marker
I ordered a set of Copic markers through MarkerPOP, but unfortunately, a few arrived dried out and unusable. While the manufacturer (Copic) refused to honor a replacement due to unclear policy reasons, MarkerPOP went above and beyond. Since I’d purchased from them before, they recognized the situation was unreasonable and personally replaced the defective markers themselves. Excellent customer service—this kind of accountability is rare these days. I highly recommend this vendor and would definitely go through them with future purchases for Copic. Thank you MarkerPOP team! ... show more

  • Satisfied with my purchase
Color: Set a Style: Copic Set A Sketch Marker (Pack of 72) Pattern Name: Marker Set
Likes: Customer service - there was some initial delay in shipment of the purchase, but the seller was prompt, courteous and patient in helping me track my purchase shipment and getting it delivered in due time. Quality and value for money - Copic markers are great, good colors, saturated pigments and easy to use. I am a first time user, with experience in water colors, oil colors, mixed media. So far very happy with the copic markers. I looked for equivalent sets of copic markers from other sellers, and by far this was the cheapest option I could find. Dislikes: Copics are expensive. For first time users, if you dont know what shades and colors you should purchase for your project, it can be a little confusing, but once you understand the colors better, it becomes easier. ... show more

  • take good care of them (don't let them clog on you!)
Color: Set a Style: Copic Set A Sketch Marker (Pack of 72) Pattern Name: Marker Set
These are very nice markers, and they blend well on the right type of paper (I recommend Bee Paper Bleedproof Marker Pack, 8-1/2-Inch by 11-Inch, 50 Sheets per Pack). However, a couple markers seemed oversaturated, the ink was actually dripping out of the brush nib. I found out that the markers that did this were clogged up, which can happen with too much heat or pressure, or if they drop from the table. To remedy this, you'll have to remove take both caps off, and and that will relieve the internal pressure. Now comes the tricky part: taking off the brush nib. Usually, you're advised not to do this, or you'll run the risk of damaging the brush nib, so it's recommended that you buy some spare nibs first. clean out any ink residue you see. You might wanna try adding more ink to compensate for what you lost, but I would rather wait for the marker to dry out. You don't wanna risk overfilling and clogging up the marker you just unclogged! After that makes sure you don't drop them, shake them, and don't get them too warm. Overall, great markers, they can be refilled, the nibs can be replaced, these really are some of the best out there. Now I know this may sound tedious, but if you're careful then this should be a rare job to do. ... show more

  • Recommend purchasing a scale
Color: Set a Style: Copic Set A Sketch Marker (Pack of 72) Pattern Name: Marker Set
I am new to Copic markers, and in no way an experienced artist. I bought these markers to have fun coloring while my kids craft, so my drawings mainly include cartoon Star Wars and Mario characters, haha. I did however research them a fair amount before purchasing and I found buying a scale extremely useful. I bought the Magnus Precision Pocket Scale for $11 off Amazon to weigh the markers - a full/new marker should be about 14.0 - 14.3 grams. If the marker is close to 14.5, it is overfilled and prone to splatter. If a marker is 13.5 grams, it can use to be refilled (all according to my research). It was interesting to weigh the set I got - 66 of them were between 14 and 14.3 grams, 2 were filled higher and 4 were below 13.8. Of the 4 below 13.8, only one didn’t work at all (it weighed 12 grams!!) and the other 3 worked but weren’t very juicy. I really enjoyed knowing that the set I got was overall well filled and not dried out or old, since I typically hesitate to make big purchases directly from Amazon these days. It will be nice to have the scale long term too to know when to refill each marker. If you are going to spend a lot on markers, I’d definitely recommend spending an extra $11 on a scale too. ... show more
