Fit perfectly under the back seat of my Maverick! I trimmed a tiny bit of the plastic storage bin and mounted the box solid to the vehicle's chassis but this box would likely drop right into the storage bin without that additional work. I put an 8" Kicker CompR in this box and it sounds great for the size. Fits behind the center bench/console of a '26 GMC Sierra regular cab perfectly. I wanted something small but big enough for a Kicker Comp R (not the shallow!) that would fit in my little truck and this seems to work rather well. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the speakér wire that comes with the box is really small gauge for a subwoofer (it's easy to change and would recommend using small ring connectors around the posts of the terminal for a better connection) ... show more

    • Nice and well made enclosure for a budget sub in a stereo system
I wanted a small stereo system for my study but my old 3-way speakers did not produce the low frequencies I love in many classical pieces. So, I put a Dayton Audio 8" subwoofer into the box and connected it to a small Chinese 2.1 TPA 3116 based amp. I am getting exactly what I want--the deep, droning bass in organ pieces, punch in piano concertos, and, of course, enough pop in contemporary music. Installed a Polk 8” woofer in the box along with a little extra fiber fill. Have a small-ish amplifier hooked to it and it hits harder than I expected! Made the whole system come alive! Definitely worth it. Nice fit and finish.

The picture shows the open cut to be in the angle but it's on the flat side. The box still does what it is made for. Check your Subs air space because this box can handle it.

been looking for an outdoors subwoofer and prices started at $150 and had poor reviews. so i purchased this box with some marine sub speakers and a can of water proofer for fabrics total cost $90. i can say it works just fine . just bring it in after the its too cold to sit outside because its made of wood and its not weather proof. keep it from direct rain. i keep mine under a table. ... show more
