I am white and have straight fine hair that is very long. I recently bleached it blonde then went back to brown and in doing so caused serious damage to my hair quality. i bought this as it was intended for black/extremely curly hair and thought if it did good things for african hair it would do wonders for mine. I was right! I work it into my hair while my hair is damp and leave it on for a day or two then rinse it out...hair is incredibly smooth, soft and shiny. Smells great and when you have it in your hair it just looks like you put mousse or gel in it. Buy this no matter what type of hair you have!

Use sparingly on Caucasian dry curly hair or it will be greasy. I suggest using it as an overnight conditioning mask. Shampoo normally then put this in your hair for the night. In the morning just rinse it out in the shower; don't shampoo again. Your hair will feel softer without the greasy part. I use the rest of this product line and love it.

I bought this thinking it was an in shower conditioning treatment but found out upon application that it was a leave in product. That being said, completely my fault for not reading the full description. I have come to realize that while I am Caucasian, my hair is ethnic. This product line understands the needs of very curly and frizzy hair. I love the product line, but this particular product was a bit of a disappointment. I found it too perfumed but you might like that, I for one prefer a less perfumed leave in. It was light, not oily and worked well to tame my curls. I usually use a more expensive leave in but found this to perform as well. I just don’t like the smell.
