These torches are lifelike and stay lit until dawn. Very durable; you'll get a few years out of them. Only suggestion I have for the manufacturer is to improve the quality of the button. Although I leave mine "ON" until the torch eventually fails, I notice the buttons rot out early.

The media could not be loaded. My four-pack of Upgraded Gold Armour Solar Lights arrived in two days overly packaged inside three layers of boxes. Assembly is a no-brainer: shove the three plastic sections together, spike 'em into the ground and press the single "on/off" switch. You can verify the operation in the daytime by covering the top of the torch with your palm. After reading some posts, I expected them to be shorter, but these upgraded torches almost reach my waist (36") once spiked into the ground. The plastic poles themselves are kinda fragile for the length and I suspect brushing against one in sub-zero temperatures might shatter the pole. But if worst comes to worst I'll simply replace the hollow plastic tubes with aluminum or PVC from the hardware store. I don't see a way to replace the rechargeable battery without ripping apart the torch. But honestly, if they last a year or two I'll be satisfied because the lights themselves are spectacular, closely mimicking warm flickering flame. Even though the poles are kinda fragile and the battery isn't user-replaceable for long-term use, I'm going to go ahead and give these bad boys five stars just because they look so darn good!

These solar tiki torches have created an exotic ambience that whisks us away to island time! We placed the four torches around our hot tub entrance and since they are only a couple feet off the ground - they don’t overpower the scene. One of the torches was wiggly loose inside and when I wrote customer service at Amazon - I had a reply from an amazing Gold Amour representative within twenty minutes and it was a weekend evening. He was super polite and accomodating - letting me know that he would be sending a replace torch immediately and it arrived in two days- undamaged! To be honest - my husband is an engineer and he figured out how to open the broken torch and repair it so we have five but the replacement didn’t come with a stake so we set it up high in a planter and it ended up at the same height. The torches come on at dark and flicker all night long with a warm amber glow. So much subtller than the solar lights that just have a steady beam. I want to buy more of their products! Super great quality and incredible customer service!

Absolutely Spectacular! I have never had anything Solar that actually worked before. These are even better than represented. They safely arrived in 2 days, Amazon Prime. Immediately put all 4 of them outside in the sun to charge them. By dark they were up and running. Has been over 11 hours now and they are still going strong. Looks totally like a real tiki torch flame, bouncing and flickering. Wonderful to not have to worry about fuel oils or burning something down. I actually purchased these to fit inside the arms of my Desert Steel 6 foot tall cactus. (Also via Amazon.) The torches are slightly too long, even without their extensions, so they tilt a bit to the side. That is OK, as looks like the flame is blowing slightly sideways in the breeze. By the way, they do have a discrete on and off button, so remember to turn them on. I will be leaving mine on every day. I also emailed my neighbors so they would not worry about the trees catching fire. Check out this night picture. I just ordered more! PS: Torches stayed on ALL night. Dawn arrived about 7AM and the lights went right out. Amazing invention!

Lights look great. Bought 2 sets for my backyard. They have stayed on all night, checked on them before I left for work early in the morning and they were still going strong. I only have 2 issues with them, if you have any kind of other lighting around them like I do (string lights) they will not come on. I cut out circles from the box they came in and spray painted them black so I could cover the sensor on top so they would come on when I needed them to, just be sure to take them off when your done so the can charge the next day. The other issue, the steaks they come with are kind of short. Wanted a few to be a little taller. It was a easy fix though, just went down and bought some 3/4 inch pvc pipe, cut to the length I wanted, painted it black and mounted the lights to that to make it taller. Very happy with my purshase.

We have a nice little patio that we love to light with Tiki torches. But it's such a pain to keep them filled and we like to have them lit even if we're not using the patio. So we've tried a few electric (pain with keeping the cords plugged in) and other options. None worked. So I bought a pair of these to give them a try.... We love them! They look great! So we bought 4 more and really lit up the place. Our neighbors loved them, so we bought a set of 2 to give to them. Then my mom and uncle came to visit from the midwest and *they* loved them too! So we bought another dozen to send out to them! The charge nicely during the day, they come on a night without a problem. The flame-effect is realistic, and (so far) they've burned all night and are still on at 5am the next morning!

I'm afraid to jinx myself by writing this review, but I purchased this set in 2019 and now it is 2024 and these torches are still going strong. I don't take them in during our Northern Utah winters, and they keep on going. They have been so impressive! They look beautiful in our backyard and are great for ambience. I would not hesitate to purchase them again.

I really like my new tikis as they add some very realistic tropical ambiance around my pool. Now be aware that they do not really produce light for seeing and are just for affect. They also will not turn on unless it is really dark (they cannot be located under any other light source). My only disappointment is that the poles are only plastic so you need to be very careful when installing them (not to break them when inserting into the ground). I recommend using a thin metal stake inserted int he ground first then placing the pole over it.
