Great light, I love Godox! The app is extremely useful, it's the perfect size for traveling/about the same size as my other portable lights that I've traveled the world with but with better mechanics. I'll definitely be taking this one on my future travels, I HIGHLY recommend this over the cheaper lights like the Ulanzi 40w etc which didn't last long during my travels. Godox makes great lights from my experience, this one is also brighter than the other lights around this price range (only slightly). Now with all of that being said, there are some things I do not like. It's definitely not the strongest light, and it's kind of sad the 100w came out like a month after I bought this one lol. I probably would have just gotten that one since it's also very portable. 40-60w lights are only good for small beginner shoots or if you need a bit of light in a pinch or a semi run and gun situation, these are perfect, otherwise I'd just make the jump to 200-300w. While a beginner who isn't too familiar with lights might enjoy this, it's just not enough light for most projects. That has nothing to do with Godox though, Godox also sells bigger better lights so my issue isn't with them, it's moreso with smaller watt COB lights. The build of this light is also great, no complaints there, however, the battery handle has cracked and I've only had it for about two months. I might end up sending this piece back for a replacement, but other than that, everything is perfect!!

The media could not be loaded. This new Godox ML60IIBi is the light that I was waiting for! It is a bi colored light very well constructed in hard plastic, and a small size ideally for travel videographers and cinematographers. The support handle, NP-F Battery holder/stand, AD-E2 bracket, is my favorite accessory for this light. Love that this lights does not have internal batteries, because I prefer to change batteries and keep working. Just had to attach the NP-F Battery holder to the handle and slip the batteries. A small cable links the battery holder to the bottom of the light and that connection screws in the light to prevent it from accidentally being pulled out. It's a great light for content creators, or professional videographers. I'd absolutely recommend it 100%. I plan to buy another one!

I’ll start with a little credibility. I’ve been in the business for over 30 years and have way more lighting equipment than one needs. I have a lot of white like this one. When it comes to this category, this particular light will be my go to. Very well designed. Very, well built. Great output. I use it plugged in and with two NP batteries and it works great in both applications. I will probably replace at least a couple of mine other smaller lights with these.

Very impressed with the design and function of the Godox portable light system! The myriad of options for use make it an excellent light for both in studio use and for on-the-road/outdoor photography. It all comes packaged in a 12" x 5" X 10" carrying bag and the entire kit weighs less than 7 pounds not including the batteries. (My two batteries added 1.5 pounds) Included is the ML60IIBi 70W Bi-Color LED Video light, a support handle, NP-F Battery holder/stand, AD-E2 bracket, mini reflector, adapter and AC power cord which is an ample 20' in length. Only two knobs are needed to select a wide variety of colors and effects. Light temperature output can be varied from 2800K-6500K and 11 different FX outputs can be chosen including: Flash, Lighting, Cloudy, TV, Candle, Fire, Fireworks, Bloom, Welding, SOS and Broken Bulb. Light intensity accurately varies from 1 to 100% via a knob turn and all setting are displayed on a large, easy-to-read screen on the back of the light. For portable use, I just had to attach the NP-F Battery holder to the handle and slip in my batteries. A small cable links the battery holder to the bottom of the light and that connection screws in the light to prevent it from accidentally being pulled out. All lighting settings are available whether on batteries or AC and there is no difference in light output or FX control. A bracket is included in the kit which allows me to attach the light to a standard light pole. I was so impressed with this light I ordered the optional Godox collapsible soft tent as seen in the photos. This is a great option to create diffuse soft light over a broad area. As far as the the app goes, I am not using it and the light is so easy to use manually, I haven't missed it. Bottom Line: Excellent Portable Light Unit! I have another brand portable lighting unit that uses a proprietary battery and I find this model much easier to use. It's very compact and great for studio and in-the-field use. Definitely recommend!
