I am amazed with the quality of this item for the price. It works Great. My dog is actually listening for the first time and he is 8 months old!. Great for dog training. They have long or short prongs with rubber boots to put on them for your dog's comfort. He doesn't even seem to notice he has it on. The different shock levels are great I keep them on low and that's all I need. The size of the unit is perfect. The remote is not too big so if it's easily in my pocket and it also has a strap for easy handling.

The media could not be loaded. I'm one of those people who always thought these collars were horrible. We rescued a Dalmatian puppy who has terrible prey drive only for our minpin. She also tackle jumps our three year old. I didn't want to spend a lot to try something. I tried it out on myself and my husband did also. It's like a strong pulse on a TENS unit. Which made me feel waaaaaay better. We mostly use vibrations to snap her out of bad behavior. Occasionally we have to use the "shock" which works on her at a low level with only one prong exposure. The other is covered with the rubber tip the provide. The price is great! It helps tremendously! We're getting another one for our male dog who keeps marking in the house. I never write reviews, little less long ones, but this is worth the buy.

Manual dog trainer (the buttons must be pressed individually...audio, vibrate, or shock). Great all around product that works well, good value for the money, effective, easy to use, appearance is bulky but sturdy 💪🏾, and has good battery life. Successfully used in home on my loud Jack Russell Terrier, but I'm unsure of the full distance capability & waterproofing. Remote can be paired with up to 4 collars, you just need to purchase more collars.

I have an energetic, healthy and happy 8-month-old mini schnauzer that we tried everything on and she couldn't stop barking like crazy! As soon as we take her out to the yard to do her business and when she feels or smells the presence of the neighbors or another pet, she simply barks for no reason. She didn't listen to me, let alone obey me. She made me chase her and she thought I was playing, she barked even more and louder. I had already tried a mask, but it didn't work, she still tries to continue barking and what we are looking for, is to make her understand, not exactly squeeze her muzzle. Additionally, when schnauzers are scolded and do not know or understand why, they tend to become depressed. Then as soon as we went out to the patio she simply did not attend to her needs, she sat in a corner and there she remained depressed, scared and confused. As soon as we took the muzzle off of her, she would start the show again! Now she has simply understood with the sound of the beep that she should not go digging among the trees, or she understands it immediately when I call her. Shock has levels of intensity and I've only used it a couple of times, I've only had it a couple of days. Now I ask her “do you want to go?” and she comes to me to put her necklace on her😄😃👍🏼 It's not heavy on her neck, just a little big, I adjusted the straps, cut them to size and put a couple of tight rubber bands on it to prevent them from loosening or coming off and falling apart. Definitely worth a try. We are very satisfied.

Definitely purchase this if you are needing to train your dog or just keep them in check. I’ve had my two collars for over a year and the battery life is unbelievable long. They also fully charge within 20-30 min on a very user friendly charging cord. The remotes themselves are very self explanatory and so easy to use. Whether you just want to beep your dog to send a warning, send a vibrate to send a more firm warning, or send a quick shock (intensity adjustability 01 - 99); this is by far the best training collar you will ever use. I would advise not to submerge the collar in water but they are very moisture resistant! You don’t have to worry about rain or an accident (one time my dog jumped in the pool and the collar was fine). And it’s affordable! The best of both worlds!

I bought this collar in hopes that it would help train my dog. Out of the box it was great and everything worked. However after the 1st day the shock setting became very inconsistent. One second it’s working fine and the next it doesn’t work unless you put it to the max setting (99). So we returned it and got a 2nd collar. Once again out of the box everything worked perfectly. But by the next day the same problem. One moment the shock worked the next it didn’t. Perhaps we just got 2 defective collars back to back but that’s unlikely. With that being said buy this collar at your own risk.

I tried the Arcs collar with remote today at the dog park on our 8 month old std poodle. He was a couple hundred feet away annoying a little dog who couldn't get her business done for his curiosity. After he ignored my call and whistle, I hit the beep button. He stopped in his tracks in alert mode. I called again, and he came running. About 15 minutes later a child opened both gates and let all the dogs out. Amid the shouts of the mon and the other dog owners, I hit the beep button twice, called his name, and he came running back through the gates to me. I never moved from my chair! There were two other instances this visit where the play was getting way too rough. Again, one hit on the beep button and calling his name was enough to bring him running, and it wasn't a scared run, but a happy return. It's nice to be able to specify a level for the vibration (0-9) and shock (0-99) which I've turned to 0. Don't see a need for with this puppy. The other dog owners present today have likely ordered their collars already! I shared the link. ;-)
