It's a really nice shade, and glad that I went for it. I wanted something that wasn't blocking as much light as the one I had. So I put this up and am not disappointed at all. It throws a beautiful light pattern including up onto the ceiling. And when you look at it, it just looks so pretty. It fits at it should. And it does allow more light to flow, which is awesome. I put a vintage looking buib in so that the filament could throw more light out, which it seems to be doing. A standard light bulb doesn't do this justice. Definitely worth the money, may be changing out the other 3 i have in what was the dining room area. But they definitely provide more light, which makes them more functional than just decorative. ... show more
