This lever gym has almost everything you need for a home gym. It has a high and a low pulley, but not one in the middle. That’s its only drawback as far as I can tell. It will hold 280 lbs. of weights, which is enough for most people. It is well designed and sturdy. A YouTube review compared this lever gym with a competitor’s model, saying that you couldn’t reach the center weight pin on this gym to rack the weights when doing squats, but GMWD has apparently corrected this problem. My photo shows the lever that is used to rack the weight, and it is easily reachable. This gym is a good value for the money. One foam padded handle had two small cuts down to the metal beneath, and some of the red painted parts had a few paint scrapes. The gym comes in two boxes. I contacted customer service, which promptly FEDEXed another Box #2 with the parts to replace those that were damaged. They essentially sent me half of another gym. Note that you will need a weight bench. You can order this gym with or without the bench; I already had one. Update: I noticed an Amazon review from February 17, 2024 listed two problems with the squat function. Those problems have been corrected on the unit I purchased. You can begin your squat in an upright position. When you begin your squat, if you raise up slightly, the central lever will release and you can perform the exercise. The small pins complained about in the earlier review have been replaced with bolts that securely attach the squat bar to the machine.

Purchased the machine on the 1st of Jan to add more weight training to my already pretty active fitness routine. I was using a lot of free weights, but wanted something I'd feel comfortable using with out a spotter. I'd done a lot of research and, in particular, compared against the Powertec Workbench Levergym and the Body-Solid Corner Leverage Gym. Both of these other machines are close comparisons with some trade-offs. With the Body-Solid gym: While price is great, and the lifetime warranty is amazing - the downside is that both arms are fixed - which is a bummer if you want more versatility. The Powertec gym is a beast, but almost twice the price and you have to buy the bench that comes with it (I already have a bench I really like and don't like having extra stuff.) While GMWD a more recent and less expensive brand, I thought I'd roll the dice and try this one out. If I ended up loving it, great! If eneded up only liking it but needing more, then I could upgrade in the future. Machine arrived, and I assembled it fairly quickly. What I like: 1. Fairly easy assembly: Instructions are not the worst, or the best - but if you're reasonably handy, you should have it assembled in 90 minutes. 2. To begin, I loaded up 90lbs per arm and everything was stable (I'd load more, but need to buy them! :) The arms have a smooth glide, the pulleys work smooth as well. 3. The versatility: This machine does a lot, and each of them it does quite well. It comes with a number of accessories so you can get a lot out of the machine. 4. Stability: Like I said earlier, I wanted something that would make up for not having a spotter - particularly when it came to bench pressing. At no point did I feel worried about the stability of this machine. 5. Range of Motion: One thing I worried about was whether the range of motion would be prohibitive or be less impactful than free weights. I'm 6'0" and the range is great. I can see this working well for anyone shorter, and for anyone 5" taller than me. Beyond that, I think your head will start bumping into things. 6. I like the thought that went into some of the hooks on this machine. I can use them to hang some of the accessories, the pins, etc. Keeps me from losing them. What I didn't like: 1. Fit n' Finish. The machine was delivered with some scratches and scrapes that dug into the metal. I don't think this was the fault of the shipping company, but actually due to manufacturing. Pieces that had been bubbled wrapped and covered tightly had some deep scratches. All cosmetic, thankfully. 2. I like the red paint, but it can rub off with any rough friction - this includes assembly. It has a matte finish and no top-coat, which I think is part of the problem. Again, nothing major - just cosmetic. 3. It was missing 1 small piece - nothing critical, and the machine is still usable. I've contacted Customer Support so they can send me a replacement piece. I'll update my review based on that experience. While I've only owned this a short time, I'm happy with it so far. I'll update my review up/down if anything signifcant changes.

Quick shipping. Easy assembly. Very sturdy. The high and low cable exercises feel great. This is an excellent deal for the price point. So many exercises you can do with such a small footprint. This is a must for any home gym user. I would definitely purchase again without hesitation. Theres a couple of excellent reviews on YouTube to check out.

I got this product, everything was in the box undamaged. Took me about 4 hrs to put together. The Instruction are very basic. Once together everything works great. Very sturdy & durable!! I also got the calf machine and I love them both also emailed the customer with a question and they got back to me within a few hours. I was very impressed and will be getting more of their products !!!

It was awful first had main part missing so had to write gemails to explain what it was over and over and pictures after finely getting parts realized it wasn't Evan a 2.1 machine it was a older model I can't find any wear on the internet and no assembly manual I couldn't send it back to much trouble I just gave up and no answer about the model of the machine never again. BEWARE
