Description

ACDelco GM Original Equipment Radiators are GM-recommended replacements for your vehicles original components. Radiators are heat exchangers, typically located in the front of the vehicle where air can flow through the fins and dissipate heat. Modern radiators are made from aluminum and plastic, while older vehicles used copper and brass. These radiators are designed to be corrosion resistant with optimal heat transfer characteristics. These original equipment radiators have been manufactured to fit your GM vehicle, providing the same performance, durability, and service life you expect from General Motors.

  • How to replace the radiator on a trailblazer w/ rear ac
Got this as an OEM replacement for my 02 chevy trailblazer. Product was an exact match for my previous radiator. The replacement can be tricky for these trucks but instead of messing with the fan clutch which can be a major pain to get off (especially without certain tools) I would recommend taking most of the front clip off instead. It total it took me about 40 minutes to replace it. 1. Remove all the bolts that connected the radiator to the fan clutch and pull loose the ac lines running along the fan clutch. 2. Removed the grill (several clips you pop out) 3. Remove the headlights (two clips you pop up then disconnect and pull out) 4. Remove the cross bar above the radiator 5. Remove the hood latch (only 1 bolt but do not disassemble just move to the side) 6. Remove the plastic frame piece that holds the headlights and grill in (might help to remove the bumper first but I just pried it loose) 7. Remove the upper and lower hoses to drain any coolant from the radiator 8. Pull clips from the transmission lines going into the cooler and pop them lose (it might take a little bit of force but they honestly just slide out) 9. Pull the radiator out but the lower rad hose connector will get caught on the fan clutch shroud as it does get in the way so you will need to wiggle it and maybe pry it with a screw driver past the shroud. Putting it back together is just the reverse. Make sure to fill the radiator up with coolant again and replace any lost transmission fluid. ... show more

  • I originally purchased a spectra radiator here on Amazon. ...
I originally purchased a spectra radiator here on Amazon. After 4 months it developed a leak between the coolant and transmission cooler. Ended up mixing my coolant with tranny fluid, which wiped out my transmission! Had to install a new Radiator and transmission! So I went with the AC Delco for a direct replacement, and it fit and works well. Pay the little extra for this one, wish I had the first time around. ... show more
