Bought for 2015 Chevy Tahoe LT, fit and works perfect, Water Pump Outlet Assembly with Thermostat

  • The part was exact fit. Good quality. No issues since installation.
I purchased this to address an issue with constant running radiator fan on 2014 Silverado with the 4.3L V6. It should be noted that the condition can be caused by either the thermostat or the coolant temperature sensor. Replacing either part involves draining and refilling the coolant, so replacing both at the same time could save time and coolant. Other than the annoyance that GM designed a huge plastic chunk where you cannot simply remove and replace a $20 thermostat, this part was an exact replacement for the original part. There were no fitment or operational issues. It was as simple as remove the old and install the new. Just be mindful to not over torque the screws or you will crack the part. ... show more

  • Works like it should
I had the GM issue were temp is below ~180 and fluctuates up and down.. radiator fan will kick on full speed and the temp gauge will drop to zero.. don’t replace the temp sensor and directly replace the thermostat and it should take car of it .. make sure to have the battery disconnected. Now my temp is steady on 210 and the full speed can issue is gone! This thermostat works like it should!! Thanks ... show more

  • Great buy
My wife's 2015 Suburban wasn't coming up to temperature. I dreaded a thermostat replacement. Hadn't done one in decades, but i remember the scraping and gaskets and goop....what a hassle. Come to find out, I'm ancient. All that headache is history. This 'assembly' makes swapping out thermostats a breeze. Three bolts and a rubber O-ring. Bam! Done! Took all of 10 minutes from walking out into the garage to starting the engine up and basking in the glow of another successful husband task. Wife's ride is now running at normal temp and she's no longer freezing on her way to work. Amazon had every other supplier of this particular part, a GM OEM thermostat, beat by almost $20. Its a no-brainer. I HIGHLY recommend. ... show more

  • 2014 sierra 6.2
For some reason - Amazon says it won't fit a 6.2 2014 sierra. Maybe just my browser or whatever. If you push the spring, you can remove the actual thermostat guts from the housing. That is what I did. I left my housing connected to the two hoses (large and small) and just removed the thermostat/spring and replaced that. VERY easy and FAST. No leaks. The three bolts are only 10mm, so don't overtighten. I do a one-handed grab over my 3/8 ratchet and tighten pretty tight and I think that is close to 10-12 ft/lbs (I dont not know factory specs, lol). Anyway - fixed my problem of NOT getting up to needed temp. ... show more

  • OEM AcDelco
Its an OEM AcDelco thermostat for $20 less than the dealer wanted. Fits perfectly and now my temperature in my 2016 Silverado 5.3 stays at 210 instead of 180. I knew the original was on way out because my temperature never got above 180 and my heater wasn't that warm. Im sure my MPG was suffering as well. Get the original AcDelco so you know it will work correctly. ... show more
