I'm impressed! I really like the form and build quality seems nice. The 30-36" fit's nicely on a 20g long or 29 gallons. Measuring it seems it would fit any tank at least 28.5" long. On my 20g long I had to extend it about 1.5". Lots of useable power. Since it sits close to tank and has good spread there is even light and less shadowing. Fixture is very cool to the touch when running. No fan or vents. On my 20 gallon with LPS I have white and red at 30%-blue 55%, and other channels at 60%. (it's a long shallow tank). wifi and bluetooth work with iphone. Tank temp sensor is a nice feature to check on tank temp even when your away and it will send a alarm to phone if temp goes high. Controls are fairly straight forward and easy to adjust. Everything seems happy since i've dialed down the power. I will likely buy another for other tanks. ... show more

What an incredible value! I really do like this light for my salties and coral.. The controls are super granular, timer easy to set up, and user friendly. You can set the individual LED groups, for individual brightness's, at individual times. The number of events is sufficient(7), but I'd like more(maybe 10?). I bought this for my Fluval Evo, and ripped the factory mounts off, then 3d printed some bits to make it rest properly and closer to the water. In the event of internet failure, you can still run it "basic settings" manually. Oh.. and the thermometer is a nice add too! Love it, and I cant say enough good things, especially at this price point. ... show more

I rarely leave reviews much less a review with a picture .. but I just had to say how much I love this light!! I recently purchased the Nicrew hyperreef but I returned it once I tested this light. It’s about $150 cheaper than Nicrew and it has more color spectrums , more options , the blue looks ALOT MORE BLUE ( which was what the absolute dealbreaker was for me ) . PLUS the app is amazing for controlling the light . It’s so great I haven’t even had to use the remote that it comes with ( which btw remote is a $50 add on for Nicrew lights ) and free with this light. And my corals are thriving. I use all spectrums at 30% which is PLENTY of light for my 20 gallon. Plus the design of the light is a lot more sleek than Nicrew lights if you ask me ... show more

This seems to be a pretty good light at least so far. App works good with both the wifi and bluetooth connections. A couple of things I wish it had. First a color spectrum graph. Second is a CCT selection or something that would let you select the color temp and then the intensity or the color spectrum. Third would be an acclimation mode. I want to start it out at a lower intensity and gradually increase over the course of a couple weeks without having to go back in and readjust each individual color channel. I would think be cause this light is app driven these upgrades could be made and rolled out quite easily. I am currently running it at 25% intensity and color spectrum I made from another manufactures color spectrograph. ... show more

I am actually very surprised with this light at this price point for $100. It’s perfect for my roof tank in my saltwater aquarium. The app is decent. There’s some glitches here in there, but you just need to close the app and then reopen it and it works fine. I love the fact that it has another temperature gauge. It’s always good to know and it’s nice to be able to see what the temperature is like when I’m at the store or whatever if I wanna check to see what’s going on with the tank I’ve only had it for two days so if something goes horrible or I don’t like it, I will update the review but so far first impressions it’s a very nice light And I have multiple flu lights that cost three times as much and I believe that this light is just as good if not better ... show more

Have to say I was worried at first because I’ve never heard of the brand but I was pleasantly surprised. I’m actually getting slightly higher par than what the box says it puts out which is great because I was worried about it only being 36 watts. The colors are pretty customizable. Has red,green,blue,white,violet and uva. Can basically get whatever color you want if you play with the settings of each color, which was a plus for me because my wife loves a pink light, so I turn it pink just for her occasionally. Controller is decent, you can turn on and off or dim or brighten, that’s it. I think it lowers and brightens in 10 percent increments. Says 18 to 24 inches but it actually sits on my tank which is only 16 1/2 inches wide. For under a 100 bucks you really can’t go wrong. The app is super convenient to and can be set up on wireless to be able to get alerts or change the color or brightness remotely. It also doesn’t mention in description but the lights to ramp up and ramp down. The digital thermostat or awesome as well and super accurate. Overall I have to say I love it and definitely recommend if you are on a budget. No it’s not a kessil or ai prime but for the price you really can’t beat. Also I did not take these pictures with an orange filter so colors are not popping like they do in person. I give it 4.5 stars but Amazon doesn’t have that option. Only feature I wish it had would to be able to set the lights to the same spectrum and schedule of where the corals are native to but it’s fine. Thumbs up ... show more

Amazing budget light- way more superior then any other light in this price range- a lot of customization options as far as colors are concerned..good solid light - I didn’t even need to go beyond 50 percent..excellent overall colors and the corals looked great. The app works flawlessly- make changes from anywhere just like high end expensive lights..highly recommend! ... show more
