I needed a light for a dark corner that I could install myself where I wanted to keep a couple plants alive and settled on this wall sconce because 1) it plugs in for my non-electrician capabilities and 2) the arm extends a little further from the wall than some others without being super industrial looking. White color with gold accent is clean and minimalistic. I’m using a 15 watt grow light and the shade is deep enough that it doesn’t protrude. Be advised this takes a 16 watt MAX LED bulb in case you are wanting a stronger bulb - this wasn’t specified in the listing, only that it would take up to a 60 watt MAX regular bulb. Install was simple, two screws in a wall stud, slide on the plate, tighten down, then screw the light itself to the mount with two side screws. It’s a pain to reposition, and the on/off spin switch is kind of loose feeling and I worry with repeated use wear and tear would happen quickly. I’m controlling it via an outlet timer, so less of a concern for me personally but if you are looking to get as a bedside lamp you may reconsider and look for something sturdier or elect to use a smart bulb or outlet plug you control via an app. ... show more

This item arrived quickly and well packaged. It was easy to install next to the bed and it works great. I plugged it into a remote controlled outlet so that I would not have to reach far to turn it on and off.

Well packaged. Lightweight lamp with two adjustable sections that allow a little custom positioning. The electrical cord while nice looking was a little cheesy on the plug end and a bit short. I rewired it with an 10ft, better quality cord. I also fitted the lamp with a 60watt bulb that has a mirrored diffuser on it to reduce glare for the user.     • Poorly engineered. Not study.
The lamps look fantastic and the concept is great. However the engineering design is terribly flawed. The lamp's back plate has two oversized holes for mounting to the wall, but the holes are so big that the base plate tilts and wiggles around on the wall every time one tries to swing the lamp's arm. The back plate was also starting to pull away from the front face after just a few test swings of the lamp's arm. The front face is attached to the back plate by just two measly 1/8" diameter screws. Coulda been a cool lamp, but structurally unsound big time. ... show more

This is a good light for its size and use. I installed it on the wall behind my bed for a reading light. Works well, but I recommend you use a 40 watt bulb, instead of the manufacturer suggested 60 watt, as this lamp gives off a LOT of light for its design and intended use. The only issue I have is that even after measuring and aligning the drill holes and screws, the lamp doesn't fit securely in place on the wall. Hopefully, another attempt to realign it (so that the screws on the wall are perfectly aligned to slide into the holes on the back of the lamp base) will do the job. ... show more
