I needed an attractive arc lamp to use over my sewing machine which is tucked in the corner of the dining room. This little beauty is not only very attractive, giving my room a modern feel, but extremely functional. The light is focused on the area I need without over-arching. (Some lamps arched too far for my purpose). The head can be adjusted to face straight down or angle the light. The footswitch is perfect for sewing and the 5' height doesn't crowd me while I sew. It was packaged very well as not to scratch the lamp. Just screw the pieces together and voila! NOTE: When you get to the final pole or top that you are screwing in, simply pull the excess cord gently from the bottom to decrease slack. I look forward to enjoying this for many years. Great lamp. Love it. Similar style is double the price at Target so awesome deal, too. I Especially like it because it fits a large GE LED grow bulb. Now my monstera plant has stylish light. Note: Even though the bulb is LED it still gets hot. Since the lamp doesn't have any vent holes the metal lamp can heat up a lot so just make sure to use LEDs (that don't get very hot) :) ... show more

Overall I like it especially for the price, but the main thing that caught my eye was all of the plastic melted onto the electrical cord. It looks like styrofoam (the rest of which was flaking creating clingy snow everywhere). I managed to scrape most of it off and am assuming it was a factory thing since I didn’t see any true damage to the cord. But definitely fully inspect it as your assembling, plastic wrapper was also caught in the base which I had to try to get out (seeing how melting is a concern). Other than that pretty great. I noticed a dent in the pole and the base was pretty dirty, a little wobble but stands relatively straight. Looks great ... show more

Originally I wanted Arc Floor Lamp, however due to space constrains, I was looking for alternative. And this is when I found this lamp. My husband ordered it for me for Mother's Day. How excited I was to open it. The color/finish are just perfect and match the base of our coffee table. The lamp goes beautiful with the brick wall and our sofa. I'm yet to install our roman shade, but 'm sure they will go together perfectly. The assembly was super easy, took me maybe 5 minutes. E26 bulb is required and NOT included. The lamp is very sturdy. Lastly the price is great! I highly recommend this lamp as a decorative accent, and to make any reading spot a beautiful one. ... show more

It was easy to install and exactly the color of gold I was looking for. Not too brassy and loud but not too muted. It was easy to assemble, you have to make sure and really yank on the cord to get it all the way through the bottom during the assembly- that was the only part that confused me. The box was a bit beaten up when it was delivered but the lamp was in perfect shape. It didn't come with a bulb (like other reviewers have mentioned) but any standard bulb would work and i'm not used to a bulb coming with a lamp anyway. They have it for around the same price at Home Depot, but I prefer Amazon Prime any day of the week! ... show more

Don’t get me wrong, I love the way this lamp looks and we use it all the time. It looks amazing in the living room. However, if you want to actually use it, you’ll have to either have it plugged into a plug that works on a switch, or get up and use your foot to press a little button in the cord every time. You can’t just turn it on or off on the lamp while you are, say, sitting down reading. Other than that pretty strong design flaw though, it’s awesome! ... show more

Very chic lamp! Works great, looks great...the only thing I did was remove one of the poles as it was SUPER tall as is (kind of reminded me of a flamingo!). Other than that, it was perfect!
