These knives definitely live up to their reputation. I've been really happy with them, but be warned - you need to be very careful if you haven't used a serious chef's knife before! They are wicked sharp - as they are supposed to be! My only issue was with the packaging and delivery process. They were delivered with no outside box, so it was obvious what they were and the delivery service dumped them on my front door step without even so much as ringing the doorbell!     • The best knives you'll ever own!
I was tired of people coming over and using my old forged knife set and complaining that they were dull. Not anymore! Global knives are fantastic and the diamond steel and sharpening stone are easy and very effective.

Really great knife set. Arrived in 2 days, very sharp. Fit nicely into the block. Feel great in your hands. Two slots left open in the block to add other knives if needed.

Terrible. I bought this to replace my Fiesta knives, which are aging and need replacement. I wish I had bought them in a store, cause this headache is not worth it. This item arrived in an unsealed box, shipping label stuck on, box severely damaged and pieces falling out. Very poor quality and shipping for something that is fairly expensive. It was handled poorly, it doesn't appear to have ever been sealed by the factory and it was missing at least 4 items. ... show more
