This looks like one of the many, many hair care gimmicks we spend billions on every year. When I got it, I thought great, another gizmo that will live in the draw with all the other crap I will keep for ten years, and then pitch to make room for new crap. I have light red hair that is very fine and it tangles into crazy making knots when even near a bottle of shampoo. This brush is amazing. Granted, it liiks like a cheap piece of plastic, who cares, it works. My hair is about past my waist and combing it with a wide tooth comb after shampooing (brush was out of the question, disaster) meant lots of broken hair. This brush, a new take on an old design, had my hair tangle free in under a minute and had abot 6 strands of full length hair in it, no breakage, normal shedding. If you have really thick, fine hair it will take longer, and might just be aggravating. Most people with baby fine hair don't have a thick head of hair so no problem. I really recommend this brush.

I have purchased several of these hair brushes and love them. The colors are so pretty. My hair is long, fine, and tangles easily when wet (a good conditioner is a necessity). These brushes are great. I use them to detangle after a shower and they are sturdy enough to brush my hair up into a ponytail when my hair is dry. They are a perfect size and the bristles are a little shorter and spaced so that they don’t dig into my scalp, but thoroughly reach through all of my hair. I bought one for my purse, too, because it is compact enough to carry anywhere. The best little/big brush I have ever used. One of my friends bought one, too, just on my recommendation and loves it.
