    • Good hose for "some" applications
First: This hose is, in my opinion, not up to the quality of Eley or Flexzilla. It is a good, solid, affordable hose to use for daisy chaining sprinklers, running a long-term use hose through a garden, extending the location of a hose bib, etc. If you are buying a long length of hose to weel/drag around a property, I would suggest another option. However, if you are going to connect it to your spigot and leave it there, this hose will work well. It is fine quality, and will be night and day compared to most consumer grade hoses. If you are down the rabbit-hole looking for the best value, this is a good option but probably not going to be one I repeat purchase. ... show more

    • A sturdy hose
I do not do outdoor stuff, when I went to use my father's hose outside, i realized the rubber had rotted and cracked in places from years of neglect. I went to youtube and looked into a new hose and found a video that compared several. This one was one of the recommended ones and I have been VERY pleased with how sturdy it is. Everything that comparison video said about it is true. Durable and sturdy. I paired it with a sprayer nozzle from the same company that is just metal with some rubber gaskets and it has done all the work we've needed it for these past few months, from cleaning mulberry stains off cars and sidewalks to cleaning catboxes with no leaking at the wall spigot at all. even the people that help mow the lawn (I'm allergic) were impressed by the hose, and said I bought a good one. ... show more

    • Good hose, but factory packaging damaged it
This hose product would have received five stars, except for its poor manufacturer's packaging, which resulted in damaging the hose at one end. The hose is packaged in a coil, as one would expect, however, the hose end at the center of the coil was deliberately crimped sharply when the coiled was started. This may have caused permanent damage to that end of the hose, as now during use, the hose has a tendency to bend at that crimped place and restrict water flow. I am trying to rehabilitate that damaged part of the hose, but I don't know if it will ever function completely as it should, or as desired. The damage was completely avoidable, and probably affects every hose product this company packages in the same manner. It's just plain stupid. ... show more

    • Can handle the job!
I purchased this hose 5 years ago to supply water to my automatic pool filler for my in ground pool. City pressure coming into my house is 70psi. This hose has not leaked a drop since I put it in sevice even under that constant pressure. Just buy it.

Very good hose. I have two other Gilmour Flexogen hoses in my yard......a 100ft and a 75 ft. They are well built and it is the only brand I will buy. And they have a lifetime guarantee. And yes they honor their warranty. A few years ago one of the hoses had a minor leak at the bib connection. They did indeed send me a brand new hose. Ron ... show more
