  • Works very well to reject heat
Size: 3ft x 15ft
I've used these on a few windows in my house along with the windows on my garage door to reject heat and improve privacy. This film does have a silver reflective color - so you need to make sure that part goes with whatever house decor you have. The film works very well to reduced the heat load. While putting this on the windows (which I recommend doing when the sun isn't shining right through them) you could feel the heat difference once the film was in place. Installation is what it is. It's not difficult, but it's not super easy. The instructions are very clear. You just have to follow them. You will make a bit of a mess with the water/soap mixture as it gets most things pretty wet. Have some towels to dry that up. A super sharp knife is a must. It takes a few days for the water behind the film to evaporate and the view through the film is crystal clear. This is something that you can do DIY, but you have to be patient while doing it. A bad film job (i.e., bubbles) is worse than no film at least visually. Once it's up, it rejects a lot of heat and protects things from UV fading. ... show more

  • Cuts the glare, light, and heat!
Size: 3ft x 6.5ft
First of all, get extra hands. Very clingy to itself. It was a crumpled mess - but we straightened it out. Cuts, the bouncing light and heat from the pool. North facing picture windows - so it's sunny all day long. What a difference. Yes, it's silvery mirrorlike on the outside. Got a couple of wrinkles still, but with a taller ladder, we'll get them out. Sticks easily with blue dishsoap and water. Used squeegees to force the water out. No more intense heat - brightness. Global warming is real! Especially in the dining room! You can still see right from outside at night, with the chandelier on. Not interested in privacy effects, just the sun, glare, and intense heat from 8 feet x 8 feet of designer glass. EXCELLENT. ... show more

  • Overrated and overpriced
Size: 3ft x 15ft
For the price of this window film you'd expect a much more intuitive product. Incredibly difficult to apply, SO many bubbles, too time consuming to peel the adhesive part off and not at all easy to apply to the window itself as it's constantly bending and sticking on itself. After a few tries you begin getting used to it but at that point you're nearly out of film already due to small amount provided. The price/quantity of film provided is my primary concern here, it's simply not worth it and would highly recommend not getting this and choosing a more affordable option that provides a similar enough result. Overrated product. ... show more

  • Would recommend
Size: 3ft x 6.5ft
Definitely does the job. Instructions were easy to follow. Make sure you use plenty of application solution or water in my case. This is some sticky stuff otherwise. All in all just a few creases that didn't squeegy out but I did these on the garage windows so that wasn't a big deal to me. I can already tell a reduction in heat in the garage. Would recommend. ... show more

  • Give it a try, works great!
Size: 3ft x 15ft
I was skeptical at first but this product really works. You need to read the instructions on how to apply but once you get the flow, it's so simple. The film has helped keep the temperature down in our kids rooms during the summer time. The sun faces our windows for most of the day and this stuff works great. Make sure you apply a lot of liquid between the film and glass. I'll buy again to finish the rest of the house. ... show more

  • Use two-sided tape to safely remove the clear layer
Size: 4ft x 15ft
They do great at reducing heat and UV light and enhance tv theater rooms. So I carefully measured my 48x48 window and got it applied, without wrinkles or other visible issues. Then I read the pamphlet, which was rolled halfway in this 15 foot roll, which describes in full a clear layer that protects the adhesive material yhat must be removed prior to application... I didn't take down the 48x48 to redo it. Instead, I just did the two 12x48 side windows after removing the clear layer - made easy by using double-sided tape on two fingers, one on each side of the film corner and gently pulling apart. The result of application sans clear film side is a nightmare of wrinkles and gawky neighbors. I had also used half the bottle of fluid and this stuff still is very hard to reposition no matter how much you spray on and it's unavoidably messy. Other cling-on films, with the application spray, are easy to reposition and still stay on once it fully dries. So far, I've not redone any of the 3 panels, to test longevity. Am hoping the main 48x48 doesn't fall off as this stuff is nicer to apply with the clear layer still on! (If it doesn't, I'll redo the wrinkled 12x48s next week and leave the clear side on.) How long either sheet will stay up is next. Today is 6/25. Will update this review if any sheet peels off. There might be other adhesives that won't wreck glass but allow the film to stay on despite keeping the clear protector on. Stay tuned! ... show more

  • Very "Cool"
Size: 3ft x 6.5ft
This went on easy, no bubble and looks great. I can tell a big difference in the temperature of the room. Was a great buy for us and our electric bill
