    • Decent motherboard, but difficult to set up
The board itself is working well, but was painful to get set up. After returning the first one I received due to bent processor pins ( and suspiciously open packaging), the second one worked but only after hours of trial and error. I installed a Ryzen 9, 9900X, and 128GB of 6000mhz RAM. The default BIOS was too old to support my processor, so I had to use the Q-BIOS just to get things started and it is ridiculously picky about the USB thumb drive you use, and the CMOS MUST be fully cleared by removing the battery first. Oh, and verify the exact RAM model is compatible. A lot are not. Once I had it running I've had no issues and was able to install all the required utilities.     • Becareful purchasing like new or refurbs.
Nice looking motherboard, my issue was I may have been sent a used or refurbished board, the box was in great shape, no punctures or smashed corners etc, package inside looks as if it was previously opened and taped closed, noticed the box had no quality seal on it and some of the pins in the socket didn’t look too good so I sent it back.     • Doesn't work,
This line of motherboard have a problem, where it won't post, or do anything, the DRam light will turn on. No way to fix it. There is a reddit thread full of people with this problem, and no one can fix it. Gigabyte will not refund, they will not recall. And they do not care

I had high hopes for this motherboard due to its price point, but unfortunately it did not deliver! Overall the design is fantastic, and it provides most of the standard options your everyday “gamer” would need. Once installed I attempted to do a bios update, and that’s where I ran into issues. After a lengthy call to the manufacturer support desk, they advised me to return the item for a replacement. ... show more
