I bought this chair for my elderly parents. They are starting to have trouble getting up in low chairs. The chair arrived ahead of schedule and was very easy for me ( a female) to assemble alone. The chair is super comfortable and lays completely flat! I have slept many nights in this chair. It’s just as comfortable as my bed. The only issue I have are the remotes and wires. Too many wires running from the chair to the wall. The chair would have been much better if the controls to recline and lift the chair was located on the side of the chair instead of a remote. This is because there is a second remote to use the massage function. There is a loop to hold the reclining remote and a small pocket fore the massager remote. That is also inconvenient because the loop is too far in the front of the chair. A large pocket for both remotes would have worked better. The cherry on the cake would have been a USB port. This chair is missing that. I still am very pleased with my purchase and hope to one day purchase an improved product. ... show more

This chair has been perfect! It is a smaller recliner than most, but that was what we were looking for. My husband is 5’ 10”, and it works well for him, but for a taller or larger person I don’t think this would be comfortable. The shape/style is much more modern and stream-lines than other lift chairs and fits nicely in our living room without looking like a piece of medical equipment. The chair has worked very well for assisting my husband both to sit and to get up. It has made a big difference for him. We did end up getting him another seat cushion as it is not the most cushy. I am not sure it would be comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. But he uses it in the evening for a few hours of tv watching and it has been great. ... show more

That’s a good recliner I bought it for my elderly mother. I like that’s it’s firm I like the material it’s a power recliner it’s not too big it’s the right size for a smaller person, the only thing that I didn’t like about it it’s a little too low when she is sitting down she has to bend down too low. ... show more

My father in his 90’s had a hip replacement and needed help getting out of a chair without breaking the post surgery precautions. This chair fit the bill. It is very supportive and brings him to standing slowly without any trouble. It is relatively narrow chair which works well for my 155lb father, but I’d be cautious about anyone pushing 200 lbs. The control is very easy to use and the pocket sewed into the side of the chair is handy. This is a compact chair, ideal if you have a small space or are looking for a less bulky piece. I purchase it to recover from a surgery so I slept on it for almost 10 weeks. The chair has a smooth operation and it’s not noisy when operating. Since then, we use the chair sporadically, as it sit in our guest bedroom, so I do not know how it would stand daily use.
