very pretty, great for napping, but not wide enough for overnight sleeping! it is also (as far as i can tell) just a rectangle with ropes attached on either end, so it doesn't have much give in the middle when laying down. tends to push you to one side or the other :/ good sitting hammock, but not the best for sleeping! ... show more

    • Smaller than most
I've owned 3 different hammocks over the years- as I have two perfectly placed trees in my yard for such a thing! Some neighborhood boys destroyed my most recent hammock, so I was looking to replace it with something pretty -- like this hammock with the fringe! The hammock arrived, including narrow webbing and hooks to hang it (which was a pleasant surprise- though unneeded, as I'm already set up). But when I took it out to hang it, I found that it was a good 2-3 feet shorter in length than any of my previous hammocks. I have chains around my trees, but I had to use the webbing to add length to my chain just to hang the hammock. There is also quite a strong smell to the hammock that I hope will dissipate in time. The hammock looks nice and seems fairly sturdy (although some of the ropes are knotted in strange places), but is a bit too small. ... show more
