    • Not the bed for me, but a great customer service experience!!
The bed itself didn't end up inflating to the full 10" initially so I gave a rang to GhostBed to review replacement options or if there's something we didn't think of to try to encourage this guy to inflate. The bed itself was fine otherwise, and surprisingly comfortable to sleep on but for my personal preference this was a little too soft (a "medium" feel, versus "medium-firm" perhaps?). The inflation issue primarily affected the sides of the mattress, and as I'm 9 months pregnant, that's a no-go for me to be able to sit up/leave the bed, and access the crib. When contacting Ghost, the customer service was phenomenal. They discussed the options, were very communicative and quick to get back to us between the normal back/forth you'd expect when making a warranty claim. I previously had the Classic 11" mattress through GhostBed and it felt "just right" as Goldilocks would say. I think I'll stick with my Classic 11" bed style via Ghost, but I'm confident that they would've replaced the 10" Ultimate without issue. I ended up requesting an upgrade back to the Classic 11" based on my preferences, which was a very easy process and tiny upcharge accordingly, but would still recommend the company overall. Ordering through Amazon was easy and convenient, but a wise note, any claims/concerns will go first through Amazon's processes to get the right Ghost rep for you. ... show more

Great price for a full featured mattress. Napped on it but no long term use due to guest room placement. Will ask guests for explicit feedback over the next few years and report back. As another reviewer mentioned; Longevity is key on a mattress. Reviewing straight-away is not always the best way to accurately rate a product IMO. Four stars for product value, no funny smells and decent/albeit abbreviated experience with comfort. 04072023 UPDATE, First guests report that this bed is comfortable but HOT. Three nights of use. Perhaps a BedJet is in order or a ChiliPad. We will see after a few more folks give this mattress a test drive. Will be back with updates as promised. 04182025 UPDATE, Been sleeping on this bed for the last two months while remodeling our master. Generally comfortable yet it gets HOT without remediation measures. Using a hydronic bed cooler with a refrigerant compressor design. This helps immensely. I purchased this in twin XL for my peterbilt truck. It fits perfectly and is a lot more luxurious than the standard 6 inch spring mattress the truck comes with. The cooling top part feels initially cool, but it still is a bit warm compared to other beds. The bed is fairly firm I'm a side/stomach sleeper for the most part and it works well for me even on my side. The memory foam doesn't feel like the slow reacting temperpedic material (which I actually prefer) it's more like the quicker reacting latex foam beds.     • I think it realigned my back
My joints slip out of socket alot especially with my old mattress and this one keeps them in place and I think it realigned my spine, super comfy, the term they use is medium firm and that feels like the most accurate way to put it, it's firm enough to support all my joints and keep them in place but not hard it has squishes just enough once your laying or sitting that there's no tension on you like if you sat on something hard for a long time, I bought a king and full and I'm very pleased with both ... show more

Self-reporting as "medium firm" this mattress has all the firmness of a marshmallow after 10 month of use. Craters in the middle, and I often wake up as my butt is about to slide off it altogether. Being on the low end of chonk I don't believe that I place unreasonable expectations upon this mattress. It's inexpensive, but also quite a challenge to a good night sleep. ... show more

For the price, this mattress is much better than I expected. I would have bought it as a slightly firmer density if that option was available, but I have been very comfortable sleeping on it so far. The packaging was simple and setup was idiot proof. Note: you will want to allow a full 72 hours for complete expansion after unpacking. I don't know if sleeping on sooner will warp the mattress or not, but it appeared completely expanded after about 48 hours, and had no creasing or visual indicators of compression after 72.
