I normally go to a salon for a relaxer, but due to the pandemic, I had to find an alternative. For years I had used a straightening comb, but just couldn’t get over my fear of burning myself (instilled by my mother, who always nicked me with hot tools in my youth). I have to admit I was skeptical about how good straightening brush could be but after researching online articles and reviews, I decided to buy this GHD. WOW!!! The results are better than I expected! My kinky hair is almost completely straight; much better than the results I got with my old straightening comb because I can get the brush on my roots! No burned scalp, fingers or ears! There are less expensive brushes out there but I believe you get what you pay for. This is a very well-made product. Will this replace the salon? No. Will this replace my straightening comb? Absolutely! All you curly girls, if you’re in the same boat as me, I highly recommend this comb for easy straightening at home.

I’m really impressed with this hair straightener. I have very long curly hair. I used to get my hair chemically straightened and honestly this does a better job! It was easy to get the hang of using it, I’m used to plain flat irons. Not once did it feel too hot or burn any part of my head! I love that it gives body to the hair. It falls so beautifully. When using this product you must move your hands similarly to when using a roll brush, flat iron or curling wand. I have 3b-3c curls cut into a bob w/fringe as I am growing out a pixie cut from years ago. I am a professional hairstylist so I am very comfortable with different hair tools so for me I did not have an issue using it. I will say it is amazing for quick styling. I used it on clean hair dry hair with minimal product. It's great if u prep your hair the night before then just wake up use this styler and go. It gives the look of a professional blowout. I separate my hair as I would a blow out and I received alot of compliments. What I like most is the ease of use and minimal heat damage. I can use this and in a few days wash my hair and have beautiful curls again. If you are a busy woman who wants to minimize morning routine this hot brush is perfect. Takes me about 15-20 min.

This is a brush curler not a dryer. No air coming out of it. It will not burn your hand because the brush part doesn’t get hot. Just the base rod gets hot. It Is fun and doesn’t leave a mark from the clamp like a regular curling iron. It’s a bit hard to get the ends flat but with practice you will get it figured out. Heats up really fast.

I have super thick hair. I've tried the Drybar straightening brush. I loved how light it was and the bristles are really easy to clean. However, it took a long time to straighten because I had so much hair and the coverage area isn't much. Tried the T3 brush, it was heavy. To the point where I had to put it down a couple of times because my arm hurt. I suspect it's because of the metal plates on the side of the brush. This brush is a nice compromise between both of them. Lotsa coverage and not too heavy.

Give this product a chance! This product is not meant to dry the hair or fully curl it. It is a meant for a different effect/style and gives the results of a professional salon blowout or styling after you visit your hair dresser. See more details below: It took me a few tries to figure this product out, give it a shot and I promise it is amazing! I have longer, wavy-thick hair and it worked for me. On my first attempt I had to go over the same sections a few times until I got the hang of it. Once I did it was a breeze, soooo much faster than curling my hair. Definitely will use this when I need a quick touch up or don't have the time to curl all my hair. My friends even asked if I had just went to the salon or got my hair cut! It provides the look as if you just went to the salon and the stylist gave you a blowout (SEE PICTURES below). It provides GREAT volume, bounce and shine. Really felt like it revived my hair! In times of COVID, I was so happy to receive the complaints that it looked like I just came from the salon! can't wait to use this more often! Would be great for people with lots of layers! Even short -fine/thin hair. I have wavy-thick long hair and it worked great!!
