I am happy with my purchase of this coffee maker. It doesn't make a large amount of coffee but perfect for me! The temperature is just right, it's easy to use not complicated didn't even read the directions. My coffee tastes good. That's important. I will say that the pot itself has a small opening in which to pore from and to fill. The coffee basket swings open so very easy to access. It does come with its own filter but I prefer paper filters as I like a smoother flavor (may just be my imagination). The filter is adequate but has a delicate structure and may not hold up with long term use of cleaning. The area to pour the water into is small but adequate. For the money it's a good choice. I would give it five stars except I am not sure the long term use of this coffee maker will provide the 15 years +++ I had with my other coffee maker that was definitely made a bit better than this one. ... show more

Would buy again. It is exactly how it is advertised. We use it every morning and no issues. Fairly durable but be careful washing the pot. Glass is thin.

This is obviously the most basic type of drip coffee maker, so you wouldn't think there was much that needs to be said about it. And in fact there isn't, but I'm not going to let that stop me! I have an insane number of different coffee-making gadgets (I'm on a pour-over kick at the moment), but sometimes I just want a simple, no-fuss preparation. This machine definitely provides that. The only thing that sets this thing apart is the unusually high water temperature. I think that's fine; most similar machines don't get the water hot enough. Other than that: I'm going to try using a #2 paper filter for the next batch, as I find that I prefer a clearer cup...but that's entirely down to personal preference. ... show more

I’m very pleased with this coffee maker. It makes a couple cups of coffee quickly that tastes great. I prefer to use a paper filter as the filter it comes with does leave fine sediment at the bottom of the pot, which is explained in the instructions. It is easy to use and clean. Very attractive.
