Ive been banging on this thing daily on my v-drums for months and its still working great. its obviously not as good as a roland cymbal in term of feel but if you just need an aux cymbal (mine's a china) its fine.

I have had this for a few weeks and added it on to my TD-17. Works seamlessly. Both zones are responsive and no issues. Its nice to have the bar and attachments included as well!

I bought the "HXW 10' Dual Zone Cymbal" to add to my Alesis Surge kit and there was no dual zones when plugged into the tom 4 input which supports dual zones. So I returned and replaced it and the replacement was the same. Very frustrating. However the product works fine as a single zone. Update: As it was explained to Me. It turns out the module on my Alesis Surge kit doesn't support any dual zone cymbals. This cymbal works as good as the surge add on for about $20 less

I like the dual zone function even though I use this one for my ride cymbal expansion. The outer edge with a firm strike for some settings has a crash type of slow attack and rebound.
