The coffee maker is pretty good, but there are some small things that are disappointing. There is no chime or alarm to let one know the brewing process is finished. The digital clock on the front of the machine only reads in 24 hour time mode. However, the machine’s burr grinder is one of the quietest we have ever purchased. The media could not be loaded. This worked great…for just over a month. One morning it was fine, the next morning the water we poured into the reservoir went straight through the bottom. After a couple of weeks of back and forth, sending the same photos and videos of the malfunction to the manufacturer, their solution was for us to take a video of cutting the electrical cord off and sending it to them (?), so they could I guess just send us a new version of the same sucky product. No thanks! My advice is to save yourself the trouble and avoid altogether! ... show more

This is my second time purchasing this coffee maker – I’ve been using the same brand for 6 years, and my first machine is still working great. I was so satisfied with it that when I saw this newer, sleeker model, I didn’t hesitate to buy it again. The built-in grinder is definitely the highlight. It grinds the beans right before brewing, which makes the coffee taste so much fresher and more flavorful than using pre-ground coffee. The interface is intuitive, with a digital display that allows you to set the number of cups, brewing time, and coffee strength – super user-friendly. Its very loud when the beans are grinding which is fine. The only issue i have is that the lid does not stay! Whether it would be during the grinding or when its just sitting there doing nothing the lid where the beans are stored pops up. No leakage so far from what i can see.
